Though I no longer remember how to play Sheepshead, it seemed to be the state card game Wisconsin when I went to UW-Madison. I remember it being fun (however, I was drunk and/or stoned much of the time) and could be played with anywhere from 2 to about 6 folks. You’ve piqued my interest and I may have to look Sheepshead up to see if my memory can be jogged.
Nope, that’s something completely different
I just read in wikipedia that they call it “The supreme discipline of Bavarian card games”.
I haven’t seen that deck in an age. I once pissed off a magician when I was asked to choose any card and I chose the King of Acorns: He really needed to work on phrasing his requests.
@Matthewfoxx Glad you joined us. And I am sure there are some poker players here, but I’m not one of them. Just not much of a card player anymore.
I would like to introduce the Flavor Art of card games coming from Italy:
I once again cite “mus” as a great game, which we play in Spain. I have found the rules in English, I hope they are ok.
If you have the opportunity, give it a try.

Black Jack, and 21. The only 2 tables I’ll join at the casino.
Other than that Spades, Go Fish (lol) crazy 8’s, poker, solitaire…
Welcome to the forum. Come on in and sit a spell. Some fine folks here with LOTS of vaping/mixing experience.
Spam alert lol
I loved playing card games. I use to play Yu-Gi-Oh and Magic a few years ago I was pretty good. I even managed to win a regional event playing Yu-Gi-Oh. Then I discovered vaping and DIY, then card games kinda took a back seat to vaping.
Black Jack table only when I’m at the casino lol
Personally, I know quite a few card games. Classics like Poker, Blackjack, and Rummy are my go-tos for game nights. But there are tons out there like Hearts, Bridge, and Crazy Eights that are super fun too!
