That’s the thing, it’s an incredibly weak flavor and needs double this to really show up, and even then it doesn’t scream mango. It’s more of a accent/filler flavor imo, I get more coconut than mango iirc.

When I pushed that Phillipine mango over 5% it just started to taste like cardboard but that might be a hardware issue.
I found it seemed to have the same weak flavour at 3% as it does at 5% but that was literally one of the first flavours I dabbled with many months ago and this is one of the first times I’ve used it since. I’ve learnt a lot since then so maybe I should revisit some higher percentage tests?

At high percentage a flavor will start to mute it’s self. Best bet is to find a secondary flavor of like to bring your flavor forward.

I was vaping a recipe with Bananas and Cream while I was mixing a few weeks ago. I took a good sniff of my Raspberry flavour I was working with and realised it would go nicely with what I was vaping.
So I prepared a starting point for a recipe, something to build from, and let it steep for 2 weeks;
5% Banana and Cream DX (TPA)
1% Cream Fresh/ Panna Fresca (FA)
1.5% Raspberry (TPA)
It tastes ridiculously nice for how simple it is! Like a banana pudding with little gummy raspberry candy in it. I feel like I would maybe turn the raspberry down to 1.25% but this is basically an adv for me straight off the bat.

English toffee cream x white chocolate (1st chocolate vape I’ve tried was told to steer clear of coffee and chocolate vapes but here we go anyways 
will report back on my recipe once I’ve tried this one out to see if it needs a few changes or not

@stickynigel yeah, I can see that.
Great news is there are a LOT of both coffee, and chocolate flavors out there, some of which are even close to, or clear, and are not the smoldering coil charcoal-ers that many of the older flavors were. This assumes THAT is why you were warned off of them.

The colleague was right… just do espresso instead 
They’re great (at least 2/3 of my daily intake) just don’t overdo the joe or then you’ll have burnt popcorn & skunk

I had the same concerns about coffee being harsh but another user on here recommended two coffee flavours which are amazing together; Coffee Candy (BCF) and Mocca Coffee (SSA).
I’ve only dabbled carefully with them and haven’t deliberately pushed them high yet but I have never tasted a burnt or off note. The Mocca Coffee is best around 1-1.5% and the Coffee Candy is great anywhere from 2-3.5%(I haven’t pushed it any higher but believe it could go up more).
Those two flavours together give such a great coffee flavour which you can take in a dark or sweet, light direction depending on your ratio.

Did someone say coffee? This is the fourth iteration of this recipe, tweaking percentages, and I think it’s finally landed at it’s sweet spot.
Such a nice light vape it has been my ADV since it finished steeping a day and a half ago and I’m not sick of the flavour yet!

I mixed up three testers for this adaptation of DaveN2KL’s Circus Kandy recipe,
Each of the testers replaces the Ultimate Strawberry with another flavor, everything else is unchanged.
