I really don’t like the taste of menthol. I’m hoping to make a tobacco mix that will help, no sweetener, I’m looking forward to something that will be more “savory.” Unless I end up thinking it tastes nasty… I just can’t bring myself to make a plain VG/PG mix. I’m hoping my next order will bring me the right concoction of ingredients, and I’m also gonna mix up bust-a-nut and some of Lynda’s key lime fruit loops, I’m really looking forward to that.
I rarely deviate from my rotation of ADVs, but when I notice my tried and true mixes diminishing in flavor, I usually pour a glass of water, and squeeze 1/4 of a lemon or a lime into it. Directly after drinking it, my ADV tastes as it should again.
Non-bakery lemon/lemonade vapes work, too. Basically anything with lemon in the foreground.
Think about eating at a high-class (star rated) restaurant. Between every course, one is given a spoon of sorbet, as to cleanse the palate. This lemon water or vape solution is the same idea.
Edit: if you want to try a simple tobacco mix, my absolute favorite is FLV - Red Burley at 0.8-1%. Sometimes, if I’m feeling extra adventurous, I’ll add in 0.5-0.7% FLV Milk and Honey. That’s it. 1.3% flavor and finished. No sweetener needed, imo.
Ahhhhh, okay! Thanks for the tips!
cool
do you like rammstein?
I think I know their first single. “Du hast”, or something like that. I’ve never heard another tune from them. Why the strange Rammstein question??
IDK
why is there more dark matter than expected?
why do birds fly?
why did my wife leave me for Javier?
why why why
FUCK Javier!
@Mediocre_Remedial I’m not big on menthol either but like others that have commented I too get “Zombie Tongue” to where most of the mixes in my rotation start lacking in their taste profiles. When I was vaping commercial juices I found one called Zombie Killer and it solved/helped tremendously. I played around with the profile as I couldn’t find a clone recipe for it and after several tries, (and many YUKS!) I came up with one that is similar, tasty, refreshing, and does the trick for me.
I’ve been mixing for hours, can’t taste ANYTHING.
So I finally just did it, gonna be vaping this and probably my fruit mix for a while.
I’m kind of surprised I can actually taste the sweetness of the VG. Unless I’m tasting some kind of residual sweetener. It’s really not as bad as I initially thought it was going to be. Better than a sub-par muted flavor. It doesn’t feel too dry either.
I mixed this up earlier… It has a delicious taste, but it’s just WEAK.
I just mixed it, so I’m assuming the flavors will get bolder with a steep. I went a little crazy with sweet crunch because I got frustrated, seemed like the creme overpowered it. I’ve been meaning to test it at a much higher percentage though, so this works. It’s gotta sweet creamy, buttery, caramel taste, I have to inhale pretty deep to taste the cornflakes. The cream/caramel flavor is definitely forefront.

You dodged a bullet, 'cause she just left Javier for her inmate pen-pal.
im good, and you?
7pct?? Wow, Do you test off the shake?
I did .
I’ve had success with this flavor tasting like cornflakes at 3%… I wanna know what happens at higher percentage. It doesn’t taste bad off the shake. I’m really curious to what will happen. Another mix I did with fresh cream + sweet crunch tastes exactly like plain cornflakes, and I don’t really get a cream taste. Just straight cornflake.
Just
What exactly do you mean by that? I feel like I’m missing context.
Also, how are people leaving star ratings on my private recipes? Someone left a one star on the mix that hasnt even steeped yet wtf, and a 5 star on a tobacco I never shared. I thought I hit it by accident, but it’s been 2 days and it’s still there.
I mixed this tester yesterday. I could taste peanut butter yesterday, but don’t taste any peanut butter today. The shortbread cookie and hazelnut are there though, and delicious!!! I can’t quite detect cookie crumble… I added it for some butteryness.
It’s not even been 24 hours I know, I don’t have any good juice to vape rn though.
Update: I looked at notes for hazelnut and people mentioned using it below 1% in a mix. I would say I’m curious to see how this steeps, but I think it’ll be gone in a couple hours the way I keep vaping it.
Do you test your recipes right after you mix ? Do you steep recipes …7pct of FLV sweet crunch is alot , that flavor between 1 and 3pct is typically plenty especially after a few days steep
The only way that someone else could have left stars or a comment on a private recipe is if you shared it with them privately. Now if there was no comment made then you may have accidently hit the rating stars on your own recipe. I have done that many times (damn touch screens on tablets) just click the - next to the stars to reset.
Depending on what I mix I do, I’ve SnV’d sweet crunch before. I was having problems with my mowhawk alien coil, lack of flavor caused some frustration and was a contributing factor to the 7% sweet crunch lol.
I get confused sometimes, there’s so much contradiction. I have problems tasting cereal with creams, and people say “up the cereal flavor.” So, that’s another reason… Lastly I’ve been wanting to see what high percentages would do with this flavor. I really wanted to try 6, but it turned into 7. If I really wanted to, I could just add more pg/VG and bring it down to a more reasonable 3.5%. I do wanna see how it ends up tasting though.
