What was your favorite commercial vanilla liquid?
sounds pretty good, no idea why they went with the name multivitamin lol. Childrenās chewable was exactly the taste that was in my head.
Oh yes, thx for reminding me. The last time I purchased nic from Hiliq it was free shipping so it must have been in November.
It was called Vazilla by G2 Prime. I havenāt seen it in quite a while although their wholesale distributor says they still stock it.
I guess youāre happy with the Maraschino cherry? I was looking for one for an Italian Rum Cake Iām working on.
I have the Meringue, Lemony but havenāt used it yet due to my lemon fears. I imagine being a meringue it must be more of a soft, creamy lemon, yes?
Iām really enjoying the maraschino cherry! No funny off notes, itās not candied, but itās sweet and syrupy. Iām going to mix a cherry coke in the morning with it.
The meringue lemony is fairly light on lemon, subdued even, which is why I used sour lemon with it in that recipe, but my daughter said she got the lemon pretty heavy. The recipe is down for a little work. Iām going to add ultimate pineapple (which is now one of my favorites), with the funky and maybe add red berries Nomz. Summer fruits, while it tastes good, is a little muddled. I think the meringue adds something to fruit, light lemon and a sugar lips feel.
I wonder if you could try knocking down the % to half, or less than half of the recommended %. I find some recommend % are like way too high for me. Also wonder if adding it at a much lower % into a mix would sort of meld it and cover up any off note. Iām not the same with lemons (though, I have tasted the pledge), but I do get a bad taste from custards unless I use them ultra low and mix them together with other stuff.
Sorry, nephews came up to stay at the cabins we gave one of them but it was too hot for them this weekend so they stayed here, lol, wussies.
So i started but i think ive got some flavor swapping to do. I bought a box and you are right, you dont really taste the oats in it so i think ill drop them and change the flavor %'s:
Honey Bunches of Oats Ice Cream
0.40% Extra Sweet (CAP)
1.00% Milkshake (Molinberry)
1.25% Oatmeal Cookie (SC) (Real Flavors)
1.00% Oats and Cream Cookie (SC) (WF)
2.00% Sweet Cereal Flakes (TPA)
1.00% Sweet Crunch (Flavorah)
2.00% Vanilla Ice Cream (LB)
Flavor total: 8.65%
When my flavors get here today ill sit down and rework this, dont hesitate to give suggestions!
Thank you. Meringue Lemony sounds like a lemon flavor I could possibly experiment with. SSA Lemon Pound Cake is one that I can use, as well. Iām determined to have a lemon break through moment. Iāll soon have the flavors for fiddyās SB Lemonade and Iām so curious as to how how my tasters will respond.
So do I if I donāt give them a long steep or if I use those few exceptions like Vanilla Custard (SC) (WF) which seems to be fine in a couple of days. But imo, thereās nothing like a good custard thatās been steeping forever, like the one in the closet you forgot about.
Mmmm to hell with the ice cream Iāll just take the RF Oatmeal Cookie all by itself. Itās been out of stock for like forever @diyejuice. I used to use it in an Oatmeal cookie recipe. That stuff was so good.
Has anyone here tried Oatmeal Raisin (FLV)? The reviews are scattered and several say itās raisin heavy. Iāve only seen it on the Flavorah website so I added it to the list of Flavorah I won through the raffle.
Yeah, they dont have several of their best flavors, had to get the SB Milkshake from Canada, aint gonna be doing that for awhile. Thought i grabbed Oatmeal Cookie too but it was graham cracker.
Which one? He has a couple pink lemonades.
Yea but RF Graham Cracker is the shit. Best graham cracker Iāve ever had. Oh damn it I just checked RF Oatmeal Cookie is back in stock @ Diyejuice. I placed an order last week and forgot to check.
How was the shipping cost? Last time i ordered it took almost a month to get here. I could paddle a canoe across Lake Superior faster, hehe.
Ya the shipping was ridiculous $15+ even if it was just one item. And itās gonna take 2-3 weeks and Iāll probably get slapped with tariff fees after the fact. Just have to wait until I have a good sized list.
thats ALOT better than shipping from USA to canada, for a few years now its been 40$ USD flat rate
Thatās a shame @warkwarth. I didnāt mean to seem like I was complaining about the cost of shipping. Those fine folks at the postal service work hard so the higher cost of shipping is fair. Though it shouldnāt be so expensive to ship from the US to Canada.
