I mixed @madamimadam’s Lemon Thang and liked it a lot. My second batch i accidentally grabbed SSA’s LCW and liked it even more.
Really tasty with either CNV’s or SSA.

I’ve always hesitated to get the ssa because of the photo, almost looks like an ice cream cone and I have an issue with some of SSA’s waffles. Is there a big difference between the 2?

Warning: I just subbed Scotch Whiskey (VTA) in my Irish Coffee. Don’t do it! It’s dry, smokey and lacking whiskey’s characteristic sweetness. It’s a great flavor (for Scotch) but a popular Irish tour guide advised against putting scotch in your Irish Coffee and now I know why.

Yup I could have told you that. I initially tried Scotch whiskey in one of my early Irish cream attempts and even at 1 drop in a 30ml and that’s all I could taste. It’s good but has a wicked strong oaky taste.

@SessionDrummer really nailed down the differences on this one, like perfectly.
CNV’s is more cookie while SSA is more wafer and softer. I find SSA’s to be more useful in mixes.
@muth In Adams recipe, yes, 4 perfect for either.
Hopefully this makes sense, just got done trying out my new dab rig/terp slurper and some top shelf rosin.

I know you like some custardy buttery stuff, gotta try North Fogs mix. I consider it 10 stars out of 5.
The buttery notes taper of just a bit after a couple weeks but after a quick nuke, shake and overnight sit this stuff will rock your world.

Modeled after the brilliant construct/de-construct methodology of @Howard_Hughes, but I’ll NEVER be as good as him. Any way, Work In Progress, and it made me think of his mixing style, while I was coming up with the first run.

I like the look of that Rocky but I’d try RF Oatmeal cookie in place of Nomz Oat. The oat crumbles in HBO always reminded me of a crunchy oatmeal cookie.

You may want to try FW Salted Caramel if FA honey doesn’t work @1.5 I always get a nice honey note from salted caramel.
