It is so good! Thank you, I think it might need a bit more shortbread, but I need to let it steep more than 3 days because some of those Nomz, as you know need a steep…it is quite good and the lemon is just enough.
there were quite a few good ones in this drop.
It’s a bit different, the nuttiness was interesting although only as a single flavor. Some of these flavors were light, I tried it at 1.5, but bumped it to 2, but I’m thinking it might need 2.5 (in this mix)
Thanks! I need to put it away…the first one I mixed only lasted 2 days lol The ras cream…it’s a good one.
Simple tasty vanilla pudding, with that nice vanilla coming in throughout the whole vape- this vanilla needs a steep. Solo it’s almost like a creamy meringue vibe.
You were right about the Whipped Cream, ive dropped it down to 1%. I should have listened…
If anyone would be so kind to mix this…we need input and opinions!! Our TMA recipe for picture 1 ![]()
Drats, I didn’t get my YT notification. I’d like to mix this but I’ll need the Oatmeal Cookie which I need anyway for something else.
It’s a great flavor- versatile but very much a crunchy oatmeal cookie with icing.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on a couple of the flavors in that release…BB muffin and oatmeal cookie were my top 2. Both could be solo with sweetener for something quick.
After many years and twice as many attempts I finally have an Irish Cream I’m happy with. Of course it’s all Vape Train , but hey whatever works! After a 21 day steep the whiskey isn’t overpowering everything and it’s smooth as hell.
Testing this one at the moment,
It’s not bad but wrote in some adjustments to possibly try.
I’ve been mixing this recipe for a few years and I recently changed from using LB Vanilla Ice Cream do to the vanilla note muting the fruits, to trying SSA Ice cream, but now the recipe seems light and wispy without the heavy mouthfeel that I got when using the LB VIC. Is there another Ice cream without a vanilla note that has a good mouthfeel like VIC.
How about trying a cream. I don’t know about another plain ice cream. VT sweet cream? I’d say crème de la creme SSA, but it’s got some vanilla. Ssa heavy cream has volume but it’s a bit buttery…
Maybe WF cream custard os any WF non vanilla cream. Their creams tend to be a tad thicker than average.
@McDuckie are you sure it was the Vanilla muting the fruits ?? Maybe it was some or most of the rich butteryness that you feel is now lacking ??
Hangsen French Vanilla Ice Cream has a HELLA mouthfeel, and it might have a light enough vanilla note for you. This still assumes that the “thick and rich” isn’t, or won’t mute your fruits.
Congratulations, I couldn’t be happier for you
After all that, you end up with all VTA. Seems to me you should’ve had this nailed years ago ![]()
Do you know, I still don’t have that flavor? I’ve been wanting it for years, lmao.
Truth be told I did nail this within my first 25 attempts but it was always that Scotch Whiskey that threw me off. It’s a sore thumb kind of flavor. As it stands out so much after the shake that it overpowered everything. There were a few factors that helped me to realize my mistake. First I found a 30 ml bottle of Rocky’s Magnum recipe that I mixed 2 years ago when he first released it. It has scotch whiskey @2%. And it was really quite smooth after a 2 year steep. Second while playing with Ai I asked it to create an Irish Cream using Vape Train flavors and it gave me almost my exact recipe! I had to go back through hundreds of recipe attempts to verify that I had tried that combo. Third was something Ken O Where said to me about a simple recipe I did called Key Lime Cookie. It was good after the shake but was quite sharp due to the Key lime, but after he mixed it and gave it a long steep it really softened into a delicious mix. Come to find out I had Irish Cream figured out I just never gave it time to mature properly.
I’m going to go back and retry a few of my non-VTA attempts that had promise but due to the sharpness of the alcohol note didn’t work for me. I’ll give it a long steep and see what happens. Just like this recent version that I created but it didn’t seem right.
Thx for the recipe history explanation. I agree with the Scotch because I tried in my Irish Coffee mix and you’re right it sticks out like a sore thumb. But I also agree on the long steep. Even though I enjoy some of my big batches of ADV, by the time I’m at the end of 300mls it always tastes even better, with all the flavors completely melded and smoothed out. I think AI came up with a similar recipe because that’s what it does, it scans the web for everything related to your question/search and may have found your recipe (unless of course you wrote it down on a piece of paper). It’s the only way to ditch the crawling eyes of AI ![]()
