What Ya Vaping/Mixing Today? 2023

Another tobacco but on the opposite side of the spectrum. This one will need just over 3 weeks to steep.

I’ll go downstairs and mix it up in a few, looks like my kind of thing. I made a hazelnut caramel cream tobacco that turned out great, will probably be better in about 6 more days as it has only steeped 8 days before I tried it…hope it lasts that long

Testing one i made last month:

Not really digging the VCC OOO IC Hangsen combo, they both are bring the same thing so one will have to go or be reduced. It will likely be VCC OOO and ill probably replace it with Cheesecake (LA). Its not bad but it isnt what i was going for.

I also tested the Strawnana Cheesecake Mixes that James made and sent along some suggestions.

Tonight i mixed Lemon Cream Doe Nuts, 3-2-1 KoWstard and Charlie Nobles PB Cereal with a couple subs and left it at full strength for the Caliburn A2, also i did not add the AP.

Next is another basic mix with easily obtainable flavors, in the US. Ive been working on a little over a dozen of these for a bit now, 4 components total (flavors and or additives). These will be very basic recipes, platforms to mix from or get ideas from but they will all be vapable on their own.

Lastly i needed something new for pods so i went with something old.

I’m still working on my Heisenberg for a new generation:

The only changes I’ve made are to slightly lower the Absinthe and bump-up the Jammy Berry to try and bring it to a more balanced mix.

Oh nutty tobaccos is a fun arena to battle in. Obviously many of the more common tobaccos do make good bases for those: Soho (FA) and Black Honey (TFA) being the most common. With Red Burley (FLA), IM4A ( Inawera), Decano (FA), and Gold Ducat (Inawera) being different ways to approach it.

Cleaning out the cabinet in my mixing area and I came across this mix I made in February of 2020. Not the biggest Cheese Cake fan but after vaping this I had to share.

@SquirrelSmash Would you by any chance have experience with Tobacco Gold (CSC)? Is there any sub for it?

I never got around to testing it, partly as I really wasn’t impressed with the other CSC tobaccos I tried.

I just went through others notes on it and it seems to be a moist Virginia with black pressed Cavendish notes. I’ll ponder it.

Hmm, I would like that.

Love Tahitian! Commonly paired with fruits but I like it all around, one of my favorite vanilla varieties. Delicate but exotic and unique. (fyi - Smooth Vanilla (FLV) is basically a Tahitian bean flavor.)

I just might try this one! But I’ll leave out the extra drop of lemon, lol. I still have lemon vape trauma.

I may have stumbled upon the answer by chance…

“pleasant tobacco flavor with a touch of honey and ash; a mixture of golden Virginia and Cavendish.”

These are from Kinnikinnick’s notes on INW Gold Ducat. The caveat is that it’s the OG formula and he said the new formula is garbage, don’t bother. Fortunately, I still have a bottle of the original.

Just a helpful bit of advice if you use Flavorah’s dark tobaccos. Kentucky, Red Burley, for instance. If you’re not going to use them for awhile give them a shake now and then. Once the sediment settles to the bottom it’s a bitch to shake out.

Hehe, I hear ya @muth. To be fair, I HAVE been able to mix up TPA’s “You Know What” AND tame the Pledge, BUT, then I found Silverline’s Fruit Circles, and the grains that are in there are something else.

Gold Ducat is one that was springing to mind and I think I might have a bottle or two of the old formulation in my stash.

Also, It got me pondering making a recipe with those aspects but turned up to 11.

I’ve never had this issue with the Flavorah tobaccos. I think Cavendish is the only one which tends to exhibit separation when left to settle for too long.

Oddly, the opposite is true with the dark Inawera tobaccos, with DNB being the worst for sediment.

Maybe this is as the room I store them in has no direct light and an ambient 10c.

Mine are in a drawer but I really didn’t touch them for quite awhile. I think one sat for a year. Ambient temp maybe 17c

Just finished up a tester from Movie Night last week and this bagel came out really nice, still need to try and tweak the cream cheese (up) a bit tho…
