As for the ice cream its coming along going to check in on it in about a week. I tested yesterday and the bc was a little light. But want to give it chance as its hiding under everything right now. And at .2% in any strawberry mix and it really brings them out even more. If it wasnt for hippy vapes sbms i would have never known
Sounds like an idea. I do things like that just for the curiosity factor, plus I don’t like wasting stuff.
Who/what is that?
@SessionDrummer or anyone else who deals with a lot of bottles/caps. I have a gripe with polycone seals that fall out of their caps. Is there any type of adhesive I could use to stick them back in and stay in? If not, where can I buy caps where 3 out of ten won’t fail?
That’s been one of my all day vapes since he released it. After 14 days it’s Heaven. I know he says 7 but I steeped a bottle for 14, absolutely amazing!
I have relied on twist tops like these for the past few years:
I have never had one fail and the 50 or so I have lying around for WIPs and concepts have been reused countless times.
Yes, those are my favorite bottles for my everyday use. These caps are for my 10ml glass tester bottles. Thx for the ebay link, though. I kind of forgot about ebay for my vaping needs. I used to use them a lot.
I rely on Ebay and Amazon a lot for bottles. Principally when vape is attached to anything, people take the piss on pricing.
Most of my WIPs are in 60ml bottles and, at a glance, there are 18 of them on my desk full of vapey goodness and 4 bottles for mediums I made for painting.
@muth, I’ve never had a polycone fall out from any caps. I’m assuming were talking about NIC bottles, and if so, I’d be hesitant to recommend any adhesive, that wouldn’t impart into your NIC. If it’s happened more than a few times for you, I’d switch bottles, or at least the caps.
@muth I stopped using any Amazon bottles years ago, with the biggest offender being GBO (Glass Bottle Outlet), had too many issues.
I started using SKS and buy by the case, and have had NO issues. They offer tons of types, sizes, materials, so you can def. find better solutions.
My current go to for Cosmos, and they also offer induction caps as well.
Spend some time on their site, plenty of options, and far superior products.
No, my 10ml tester bottles. The last case of 24 bottles I got was a dud with defective caps.
Thx, I’m good on cosmo bottles. I just need caps for my 10mls.
One type bottle I’d love to have is a PET 300ml but I have a hard time finding them, just Imperial sizes.
What type of bottles are they ?
I thought I had a pic but I’ll have to take one tomorrow. I remember that the distributor was out of Beverly Hills, CA. Iirc, a company specializing in cosmetics and essential oils. Out of a case of 24, I think 4 of the caps fell apart iirc. Not a lot but it’s the principle of it. What good are bottles without caps?
10ml glass with round shoulders, not vials.
I decided to sit down and see if I could create a tawny port after @Jetz joked about it.
Here’s the base WIP I will be adjusting in order to make a port stone and then, build dessert wines upon this. It’s one hell of a Hail Mary challenge but I thought it’d be fun to show each step on the way.
Oooo a tawny port challenge. I’ll take a crack at that. Definitely gonna be a steeper.
The first layer going by the flavor definition of a aged Tawny Port.
Barrel Oak (VTA) 0.01 for the barrel aged flavor 1 drop
Blackberry (VTA) 2.00 syrupy dark berry flavor
Brandy (VTA) 1.00 to enhance the berry and fig and wine flavors
Fig (VTA) 1.00 for some light anise spice and darker chocolate notes
Red Wine (VTA) 2.00 the base for the port a fruity wine
That’s funny using one Aussie flavour manufacturers products to create a recipe that was inspired by a different Aussie flavour manufacturer…
That is ok, we have access to all those flavour types via our flavour library. As they are mainly used in the brewing, wine and distilling industries.
