@EyeMSam and I have a new show since Noted Dx ended. Next Wednesday will be our 4th show, which will be banana. Each week we challenge ourselves to make a mix using the main fruit of the week. We encourage others to play along and mix a recipe and we go over them the next week. Sam and I also collab a recipe live. It’s Wednesday nights at 8:30 pm (EST) here if you’re interested. It’s been fun! Last week was avocado.

I made this and after 5 days of steeping it great!
It is right up my alley! Sweet and tart and juicy!!!
If you really want to punch that up I’d suggest switching to Capella 27 bears instead of TPA gummy candy. Tpa gummy candy is fairly weak as a gummy. And FW gummy bear reminds me of chewing gum.
Just mixed up a number of my staples and some test recipes.
Realised by the dates on the bottles that I have not mixed anything for the last 6 months as I tend to mix largish quantities when I do, this session was around 3 litres in total!!
One of the real advantages of MTL vaping!
At the same %'s???
Oooh I actually have that one (27 Bears). Will try it when I make my next batch. Also, as @KC111 said, do I use it at the same %? Looking forward to trying it. You’re right though, I am finding the taste of the gummy candy a little weak (love it but wish it was punchier).
I typically use 27 Bears @ 4% in a mix and 6% as a single flavor. So yes 4-6 would work good. It’s got a nice candied pineapple flavor.
I actually use 27 Bears for all of the jelly candy mixes I’ve done like this one. Modeled after the jellied lime slices it even has the granulated sugar feel on the outside.
And you can change the fruit flavor by simply changing the fruit and gummy flavor. I’ve done orange, apple, grapefruit, cherry, wild berry, strawberry etc. The real magic is in the 27 bears and sweet candy combo it makes for a great gummy base.

This is so helpful bud, thank you!
Yes indeed, very helpful. Thanks so much and have a great day!!!
I took the review of Key Lime from SD really serious. So I went ahead and rush ordered from DIY Vapor the Key Lime and Tiramisu from Sterling Cloud. So without even testing the key lime I threw this together. What can I say I’ve been in dire need of a good Key Lime Pie e-liquid. This one is soooo close just not perfect yet. I think it needs more tang (a tart punch to the back of your throat) its really good though.
You are a foul fowl! Looks like ill be ordering some more Sterling Cloud flavorings, Key Lime is on my Amaozn WL already so i reckon ill have to order it.
The other day i was thinking about the tang missing in my lemon and key lime vapes and Grapefruit popped into my head. Very small amount but my stoned brain seemed to think it might work.
Thoughts?
I cannot put this stuff down lately
Grapefruit would be great if you want more SOUR. I’m getting plenty of key lime zest notes from the SC Key Lime. I was thinking that it needs more of a tang to the cream/custard than adding more sour notes. Like maybe adding something like TPA Greek Yogurt.
Did we talk about this before or something? I ordered this flavor to try it in KLP with my last order, just got it today. Then the grapefruit thing tickled my only functional brain cell.
Gonna go see if they have a 2oz of KL Sterling on amazon, now i MUST try it. Friggin love KLP.
Good to know that grapefruit adds more sour. Love me some sour
Uh Oh. …
@McDuckie I’m trying to pull one together with the SC Key Lime, and Graham Cracker. How do you like yours with the Shortbread ?
Personally I prefer a Shortbread to Graham cracker when it comes to Key Lime or Lemon Meringue as I feel that the graham can detract from taste of the the fruit if used too high.
As for my recipe, I really like it, but I feel like it needs something. That FA Custard and Lemon Custard combo lays down a good base that blends well with the key lime. Once I finish this 30ml I’m going to try adding some TPA Greek Yogurt to see if it adds something to the filling.
