What Ya Vaping/Mixing Today? 2024

Yes I gonna get both the Cap Strawberry Gum and TPA Bubblegum @ BC to see which works better.
I’m thinking a bubblegum, tpa watermelon, watermelon candy, dragonfruit, and an apple or apple candy. With a little TPA marshmallow to add depth and sweetness. Then some cotton candy (ethyl maltol) to help reign in the watermelons which do tend to be overly sweet.

I haven’t tried Capella but think TFAs is alright. I’ve also FWs but I definitely got zero bubblegum from that. Basically what I tasted was a citrus combo.

I’ve gotten lazy, or just simply so busy with other things, like honey-do’s, but …
Although I have a binder(s) full of recipes made over the years [and many, many flavor
tests back when Sam @Nicotine_River tasked a few of us to evaluate new flavors], I have
pretty much settled down to just a couple of ADV’s that never get old for me, and keep 5-6
mods/tanks filled 24/7.
Long time ago @Alisa so graciously shared her Bust-A-Nut recipe and I have used and kept
it made every day since. One day a child (grown, with six kids) of mine had me try
HUMBL Sweater Puppets commercial e-juice and I fell in love. Not just because of my affinity
for the ‘real’ stuffed animals, and I do love melons, it was just tasty and pleasant. Then shortly
afterwards @liquidDes shows up on here (6 or 7 yrs ago) with a clone for them, er, I mean it.
Lazy or busy, pretty much just mix these two when needed, and always time for a good steep.
And thanks to both, @Alisa and @liquidDes .
Bust-A-Nut
HUMBL Sweater Puppets clone
Kinda weird how they just go together.

Thanks for the info @Gazza7 and @STR8V8PING I probably won’t be working on a watermelon bubblegum. The kid didn’t like my price to create a clone so he’s going to stick to the commercial version.

Especially if you have to buy flavors and stuff…

Exactly he thought I would buy a whole bunch of flavors mix up some samples free of charge and if he liked any of the samples that he could buy 100ml bottles from me. If not I’m out all that $. The last thing I want is to buy and then get stuck with a bunch of flavors that I’ll never use again. I just recently purged my stash and got rid of flavors I didn’t need.

I have traveled the same route as you. I have more gear than I’ll ever use, hundreds of flavors and recipes that aren’t used. One ADV is from 2017, the other 2021. I’m quite content.

I’ve been playing with a recipe from the :chipmunk: lady FlavorChaser called White Velvet. It’s basically a really good attempt at a re-creation of Disarrano Velvet cream liqueur. I’ve been playing with the flavors and % a little to get it were I am satisfied with it. And at this point I feel that it’s as close as I dare go with it. After a week of steeping it has that nice smooth flavor with a really good boozy exhale. I’ve been vaping it @ 60/40 in a pod to obtain maximum flavor.

Amaretto (FW) 2.25
Chocolate Mousse (VTA) 0.50
Devon Cream (VTA) 1.25
Light Rum (VTA) 0.75
Love (VTA) 1.50
Marzipan (FA) 0.25
Vanilla Ice Cream (VTA) 2.00
White Chocolate Base (VTA) 0.50

To me the original cream liqueur has an almost malted white chocolate cream flavor to it with the slightest notes of cocoa. And then you get the warming bite of the Disaronno Amaretto on the backend just like in the vape.

I can’t find the recipe on here for some reason, maybe someone can but I highly recommend this if you have everything, one of my favorite bakeries ever

Another big purge of flavors. Not much left I just need a few flavors so I can mix myself a bunch of one shots, then I’ll have practically no flavors left.

@McDuckie, wait, is that a GOOD thing ?

For me yes it is. I’ve gotten to dislike clutter. So once I’m finished I’ll have 3-4 120ml bottles of each of my favorite one-shots. It takes me around a year to finish one bottle so they will last me a long time.

And then you will have to come over here and tell me what to purge,.

What VTA flavors are you purging?

All of them I only have coffee milk froth, caffe latte, arabica coffee, vanilla classic, sweet mate, coffee base, and vanilla ice cream left. And those will be gone once I get the final few I need from Nomz. I’ve used everything else making one shots. I had a few bottles that were @ 1/4 I just chucked them.

You were my VTA guy!

I’m there with ya. Last week i dumped about 60 flavors. Now I just have about 75 flavors to work with. It’s like a weight is lifted.

I’ll always be a VTA guy, but since I don’t use a lot of their flavors anymore it isn’t worth restocking any of it.

It feels good to be free of that damn rabbit hole.

I was thinking about creating a thread for dumping some of my recipe’s so that they can be enjoyed but they won’t be taking up server space on the recipe side. That might take me awhile though (click n paste). :joy::rofl:I’ve got a lot.
