What Ya Vaping/Mixing Today? 2024

Tribeca was marketed by Halo as a tobacco. and many of the clone recipes which are very close and or better than the original all use TPA Ry4 Double at either 10-13% along with either TPA Graham Cracker or GCC, Acetyl Pryazine 5% and Ethyl maltol. Most of Halo’s recipes likely make use of RY4 Double. I feel like their Halo Prime it is simply a Tribeca base with TPA PB and a light tobacco added.

I don’t know why I put Sugar Cookie V2 as the regular would be fine. I’m going to order Vanilla Cream INW instead of VT Vanilla Cream as I can receive an order BC quicker than NOMZ.

And ironically, I hear so many vapers say they don’t like tobaccos but they might not realize that they’re vaping it anyway…well, an RY4 type of tobacco which bacco heads hate to call a tobacco. I get it, it’s not an actual leaf varietal that can be identified, but for the sake of vaping and the eJuice industry, it makes sense and it all fits in nicely when you accept it for what it is.

TADA! so is this the final version that I hope I helped by sending you an extra bottle of Don Juan for your testing purposes? Either way, I’m happy to see this. I don’t have FW S’mores but I have WF which is a smashing good flavor. I’ll have to use it for now because I’d love to mix this.

I believe you meant the Cream Team Buttercream that you sent me. I deep dived into that one also and I did finalize a version though I don’t feel it’s exact but really quite close. It’s really rich just like the original and requires at least two weeks of steep.

2.50% Bavarian Cream (Cap) * 5.50% Butter Cream (FW) * 2.00% Butter Pecan (SilverLine) (Cap) * 3.00% Cake Batter Dip (FW) * 1.50% Sweetener (Sucralose) (FW) * 4.50% Tres Leches (FW) * 6.50% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream (Cap) * 4.50% Vanilla Custard (Cap)

Haha this is quite funny. What you posted is like a simplified version of my mix, and with higher %. I find RY4D to be very astringent if mixed above 3%, so i don’t know how enjoyable that mix will be for me.

Also, I find TPA Peanut butter super overpowering at 2%. In my recipe it’s at 1%, and it doesn’t get lost in the mix.

It could very well be that the mix you linked is from the good old days. Have you vaped it? How do you find it without the addition of creams or EM to dull the edges?

Im pretty sure the original tribeca uses of FA Soho at 7-8% or maybe above.I dont get the RY4 caramel in it (or at least i dont remember) .One might argue the main ingredient is even in the name… (Tribeca is next to Soho on the map)

I always suspected Soho in Tribecca. I vape a mix called Go Nuts or Go Soho and it has both, RY4D/Soho and it gives me a reminiscence of Tribecca.

Yes, I believe it’s from the older says but I haven’t vaped it yet and will adjust as needed. Although, 5% of RY4D isn’t an issue for me and the other flavors come in at an average pct. Although I might use DX PB. Don’t know till I try. And sometimes I’m in the mood for sharp edges so we’ll see

I couldnt find V2, ive rarely used it, but i do remember that it was perhaps a softer version of SC? I also swapped the sweetener for Extra Sweet CAP, considerably less gunky than any other ive tried. Loaded it up in the RPM 5 Pro, pretty tasty after just a couple days curing!

Limón Tres Leches - Duckie*
0.25% Extra Sweet (CAP)
1.00% Lemon Custard (SC) (WF)
2.75% Lemon Pound Cake (SSA)
1.25% Sugar Cookie (CAP)
0.74% Sweet Cream (TPA)
2.00% Tres Leches (Delosi)
1.00% Vanilla Cream (VTA)
Flavor total: 8.74%

Think ill give that a mix!

That’s what @saspi said

I’ll get on it, too. I think I’ll use it in a more DTL atty. Some of these RY4s look more intended for that, like @Rocky02852 RY4.20. Although, I tried that in a MTL and it was very good.

@Ken_O_Where speaking of RY4 recipes, I wanted to try this old schooler from Silhouette but I don’t have the Graham Cracker DX (TPA). She explains why she used that instead of the regular. Any suggestions?

Not to interject but as she says the tpa Graham cracker doesn’t really have a strong graham note it leans more towards as she said a light graham flavored cake with a mild coconut note. I used it in a Little Debbie Cherry Cordial mix for the cake part. I can’t think of anything that compares.

I was hoping someone would interject, thx. But I’m bummed that nothing can sub here.
