Rest? With an apple crumble heck no. JK I tried a few drops in my RDA. I know it’ll get better once that Apple Pie/Biscuit/Crumble trilogy steeps after a few days. For me FLV Apple Filling over .5 is to much because that stuff gets wicked strong (the cinnamon) after a few days. Have you tried FA Pear @.5 with apples? It makes a syrupy apple pie filling.
I’ve mixed the two of them, but not for that specific purpose. I’ve had good luck with FA’s Liquid Amber, which adds an almost apple, and pear note, as well as somehow injecting a “baked” into some mixes though.

Yeah I’m going in on both of these recipes. I haven’t used CAP VC in probably 3 years.
I thought I might have tossed it after falling in love with Custard Premium, but nope…I found it still lurking in my stash. And, just the words “apple” and “crumble” in a recipe gets my full attention!
Ok, I have one more before 2024 is over… this one’s a steeper, but it’s really good in the new VC rta! I mixed this and left it for 30 days…
Thank you! I hope you enjoy! I haven’t used Casio cap VC in a couple years…I forgot how much I liked it. I just posted another recipe that uses it a bit higher… I’m enjoying it a ton.
I just can’t tell you how much single flavor testing has helped my mixing, along with everyone of you in this forum. You’ve all helped me and I’m grateful. I’m even branching out to uncharted territory IE: fruits lol
I’ve seen so much growth from people and their mixing this year. We should all be proud of ourselves 🫶🏻
Looking forward to some fruit ones Lynda!!
That looks smartly done @Lynda_Marie.

Thank you! Thoroughly enjoying it. That ai butterscotch custard got me thinking about mixing a custard in a way I’d never thought of. I appreciate the feedback. I definitely put thought into this one.
I think many times TPA’s Vanilla Custard gets overlooked, and this is a great use of it IMO.
Totally agree!
