Awesome job, Rocky!
Okay can’t share publicly yet because it might change after steeping, but I want to lick the dang bottle so very dang happy with how this turned out. LOVE noted’s idea about using cookie FLV/Cookie Cap for a floury dough!
Thanks Michelle, now I just ordered a larger scale, LOL
I didn’t do it, what kind of scale did you get?
Well without getting too far off topic (there’s a new sheriff in town) I’ll be vaping/mixing tomorrow with a AWS LB-501 thanks to Prime one day shipping, have been using a 50g 0.001 scale. I bought a cheaper 500g scale last week but it was DOA so I sent in back to amazon
I know you’ll love it, Rocky. I have used it for years so definitely a great buy.
@Rocky02852 the 501 is great, I’ve been abusing mine for years, always leave it plugged in, and use it down to 5ml tester bottles with ease. Only the tare button is showing any sings of age.
I’m curious if you have tried it yet, and what you think, I’m the only person in my circle of friends and family that vapes bakeries and custards, not fruity mixes lol
I took a whiff around 7 days ago (after a 4 or so week aging) It smelled Great! Sweet with a touch of cinnamon in the background. I’m experiencing a nasty cold and will give it a vape next week.
Because I enjoy torturing myself AND I just found an unopened bottle of ooo glazed doughnut that I didn’t even have added to my flavor stash, I mixed up yet another doughnut recipe in the hopes of a perfect glazed doughnut for ME. This one SMELLS really great, and tastes good on a knuckle but I’m not even attempting to test it until 5 days have gone by. If it works I shall be finished with that profile and move on to my next impossible project.
I’m not the type to insist on a long steep, I routinely vape mixes heavy in cap vcv1 after a day or two of steeping, but OOO glazed donut really needs 3-4 weeks before it becomes great, I almost gave up on it with a 2 week steep when I did my sft, it had a weird almost fruity note in the background and it tasted kind of like a donut, checked it again at 4 weeks and it was straight up Krispy Kreme… it’s the only flavor I have tried in years of mixing that I won’t touch until it steeps
I’ve had this MB Big Watermelon in my stash for awhile, haven’t really used it yet so I dreamed up this one:
I’ve been working on this for some time now
Fruit & Nut Chocolate Bar?
I see Chocolate and Nut but where’s the fruit?
Cream and milk i guess are in there to mellow the chocolate?
Not sure what the marshmallow and Super Sweet are bringing to it and torrone is nougat? Not used the FA version but the Inawera version has honey in it so presumably this is the same?
If you want some help I’d top up the hazel nut with a high dose of AP maybe 1.5%.
It’s great for a nut addition not just as a boost to cereals, biscuits and bakeries.
Flavorah Pralines around 0.75% would be a great base for the Chocolate then I’d look at Prunes and a touch of a good plum for the fruit - Something like KH Dark Plum or TAC Natural Plum.
Or you could just tell em to mind my own business of course
Torrone has fruit notes and posh choc also has fruit and nutty notes i do see where you are coming at. I take all criticism on bored but I’ve spoken with flavour art UK and that’s what they have said that is why i have used them two flavours
Not sure I would want to go there
You might be surprised
Nope pretty sure i wouldnt be
