@Rocky02852 I just mixed the 8 drops/30ml (0.55%) version and it tastes like a full-on raging Blueberry in there. Just a finger test, but compared to this stage of the 4 drop version…night and day.
So, this one seems about 2x concentrated compared to the original BB MF.
Just mixed the 4 drop tests of Peach and Guava Silver, and they seem about the same concentration as the BB.
If anyone is unfamiliar with what MF’s Silver Line is, this link will explain:
If these are generally 2x more potent than the original, the $22 per bottle just got a lot more sensable.
Edit: I just scrolled through their offerings…no White Peach Silver!!! Nooooo! I will be sending an email to inquire! They do have most of the usual MF favorites, fortunately.
Edit2: in case it wasn’t obvious…i know this is cart-before-the-horse territory here, so take everything in this post with a grain of salt. I won’t hype these flavors again until I’ve mixed/tested and steeped more extensively!
That sounds very promising, I do now use alot of the Blueberry which I got from river, not sure if it’s OG or Premium as river rebottled…
Definitely going to go for the Silver when I reorder
Someone, somewhere said they were looking for a good honey flavor. Flavor Monks honey.
Here’s my notes:
Very strong. Smells like good, rich honeycomb. Has a rich honey flavor with no aftertaste. Lingers for a long time on the cotton so don’t use in a flavor you plan to change out unless it is complimentary. I wouldn’t recommend higher than 0.50% unless you want to taste nothing but honey. Isn’t very sweet by itself.
The only honey I can do is VT honeycomb which is not really honey and a very low% of WF honey roasted peanuts. It is also the room note of cat urine that is unpleasant in many instances. When I see honey in a recipe I just don’t bother.
I’ve made so many versions of this i was basically sick of it, made this one right after Christmas on paper as i quit using elr for this profile due to clogging up my folders with so many similar recipes lol, this is my version of perfection:)
It has zero cat urine scent. The hubs and I both tested it. It is very obviously honey. I was hesitant to try it because of the majority of the honeys out there have that off note. Flavor monks’ does not.
Of course I’m missing the NF (and the WF) but I’ll bet that eggnog works wonders in there!
For a Southern twist I like to use Milk and Honey…
( actually I think I put M&H in just about Everything )
This is on my list, I’m pretty sure that’s thanks to you!
These 2 Pecan flavors are pretty great together, the NF taking the slightly too creamy - less Pecanny WF up to where it needs to be.
I read the packaging on the Talenti today, and it’s “swirls of our Dulce de Leche” that bring the richness. Going to have to find that concentrate and buy one.
