What Ya Vaping/Mixing Today? (Part V) 2021 - 2022

I’m impressed by your determination! But I won’t believe it until I see that thin black tie

Send a pm with your nic/vg/pg preferences and an address

You asked for it buddy :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: (you don’t have to put nic in it, save it, it won’t kill me).

Cool, let me know your preference of nic, though, I’ll mix it to that spec but leave it out so the other weights make sense. I’ll wait a bit to make sure this steeps ok, nothing dominating the others with age. I’d hate to have it turn into a straight PB mix with no SB goodies for you!

3mg. Yes, if I like it and make it again I still have some SB Pure Raw I’ll use. I save it for special occasions because I rarely vape SB anymore.

You know me, I don’t mix a lot of fruit vapes

There’s a space there to fit in more bourbon.

I’m testing a few more cocktail blends while vaping what may be the closest I get to an ADV during autumn:

You know, I don’t think I have tried FA’s I say think, because my memory is crap. So, if I have, I sure don’t recall, sorry :frowning:

No problemo. Did you see my PM?

Wow, I’ve never taken Kentucky Blend that high. But then I’m a cheap date. Explain to me how the Basil and Cardamom play along with the tobaccos; in your own creative and elaborate way, please.

It’s the morning, so I’ll be short and sweet:

The Cardamom is to complement the caramel notes of the Turkish and to bring out the spice of the Kentucky. The Basil is there to add a leafy herbal note but not too much moisture: Moisture in pipe blends is Lovage’s job.

Are you a big fan of pipe flavours? Did you smoke a pipe before? I haven’t had a chance to try your recipes yet but the ones I’ve seen you post seem to be a match for people who love, at least the aroma of, pipe tobacco. They’re really interesting and I can’t wait to try. Maybe I’m way off on what o think they taste like!

Yes, I used to be a pipe smoker. So, I do tend to blend quite a few in that style, though I generally just favour more adult flavours: I only go down a candy shop route if someone has asked me to make one.

I agree more or
Less. I like refreshing vapes, though a complex pasty vape gets me going big time. I do avoid the super candy mentholated stuff.

I’m actually surprised at how much of the U.K. juice is not in line with my tastes and carries koolada. For the price I expect more effort than what I’m seeing from many brands.

I only see what’s going on in UK juice through the emails I get from online stores. Frankly most of it doesn’t look appealing at all. The last time I saw something I might try was the Ohm Boy (Botanics) range. But at the end of the day, I always end up getting new concentrates to try instead.

I think a lot of the juice lines here are in line with people who lean towards Asian spices and florals. Even something like apple mango pineapple will have (to me) strange pairings with really harsh floral tones and a ton of koolada. One brand that doesn’t do that is vampire vapes but holy hell their juice is so harsh (to me) I can personally only think they use the absolute cheapest ingredients to increase profits - completely unsubstantiated just a guess at why it’s so harsh.

About the only brand I care for here is dinner lady - which is good not great. Good simple bakery stuff. But even then only two juices.

Anyway - the options available with DIY are astounding and there’s absolutely no excuse other than lack of effort to finding the perfect juices for yourself ! I’m certainly glad to be involved here now and soaking up all the recipes and information I can.
