What Ya Vaping / Mixing Today?

I need to look up that Chocolate base of yours and compare
to my own two. I have a Milk Choc and a Dark Choc base so far.

But, that recipe looks great. I’ll have to play with that. Thank you!

I don’t see that you’ve posted your Chocolate base recipe. Could you please share?

It’s actually in the comments section of that recipe

Hey thanks for the help offer but so far i have been vaping some 80/20 with it without much trouble. I have a dual vertical SS 23g in there 7 wraps and i snipped the wick flush with the top of the coils. I fanned out the bottom wick leaving a tiny space between it and the deck holes. Vaping it on TC at 450 degs F at 50 watts limitation. Very good vape off of it. Im not a chain vaper so i only got 1 dry hit off of it so far.

I have 2 of them as well. I’ve run 80/20 with zero problems. I think the thing you have to do for good wicking is to try and limit how much of your wick has the fibers laying across the deck’s juice holes. Rather you want the wick to be sitting as flush as possible with as much of the fiber ends making first contact with the base on top of the juice holes. And believe me, I’ve put these things through the paces…in TC mode only but cranked up to like 550F and 90watts. Not a dry hit in the house. Try that @Joya and see if that helps.

Mixing with your feet are ya? Sorry, I couldn’t resist, and I hope you’re laughing but only if it doesn’t hurt to laugh, in which case you should now look at my question as being a major smartass and inappropriate comment, and get mad. But don’t get so mad you’re shaking, that will only aggravate your foot! Seriously, I’m so happy your surgery went well and you’re home. I think you’ll be mixing much sooner than a month…maybe a couple of weeks tops. And when you do, make sure you create something under the influence of those killer pain meds. Call it Trippy Trip Juice  Love ya, mean it!

It will probably be a pretty good vape at those ratios. The Crunch Cereal (FLAV) has a blueberry flavor to it. It is good on its own. The lemon in the Fruit Rings (FW) isn’t as bad as Fruit Circles (TPA) but it lacks some of the other components. From the Kellog’s site: Lemon, Lime, Orange, Raspberry. Those are the fruit flavors in Fruit Loops. I even played with Fruit Circles in Milk (TPA). That flavor still has me scratching my balding head and wondering WTH they where thinking.
I began the whole journey in an effort to get something close to Cutwood’s Bird Brains. The one I shared isn’t even close, but it is a good vape on its own and it is pretty close to Fruit Loops in a bowl with milk. Still lemony but …
In the process of all this, I did manage to make many pretty decent vapes. But it was never a 1:1. The search goes on. With my recent sucess, it has inspired me to dive deeper into it to find it. I am actually gonna start from scratch and with the base fruit flavors to find “that mix”. Something I always noticed with Bird Brains, it doesn’t have a lot of “cereal” flavor to it.

GREAT NEWS! Glad you are well and on the mend! Take it easy on that foot, most people I know can’t stand to be still for more than 30 mins. Listen to your Docs.

Really? I haven’t noticed that at all.

I may pop some very small amount of Orange Citrus (FLV) in and a little touch of Raspberry (MF) after a few days. One thing about Froot Loops I always noticed was the lemon flavor in the cereal is pretty dominant. And the color of the pieces doesn’t matter, they all taste the same to me.

Thanks for the feedback. This is a fun venture to be sure.

LOL there was actually a confession made by Kellogg’s to that effect. There was a pretty big shit storm on reddit about it. Yes, the lemon is dominant, but it is a fairly bright lemon, not lemon pledge like TPA managed to conjure. The best lemon I have found is Lemon (FE). Fruit Express from ECX. It is a very very nice lemon flavor. I am probably going to end up getting some MF flavors down the road. I am curious as to how their lemon is.

Prior to a month ago I had only TPA Lemon. It’s ok, in a dry, obviously artificial kind of way. Certainly can’t hold up on it’s own but mixes decent. Then I got some Lemon Sicily and it’s … well … if TPA Lemon is on planet Earth, you have to go through a wormhole in comparison to get to Lemon Sicily by FA. Ok, just added that to my shopping list. It will be a bit but I’ll get some. Thanks for the recommendation!

Yes, it is a good lemon as well. Very good actually. But it is still kind of on the “dark” side of lemon if that makes any sense. Lemon (FE) added to a custard mix is absolutely wonderful. It is light and bright and cuts some of the heaviness custards can have.

To me Bergamot (FA) belongs in cereals  hehe

I agree with you. Its the only reason I have it in my stash.

Ahhh, sounds like a great idea and I want to experiment since I got the 500 gallon tank of it
