How do you post a recipe on the forum? Just curious.
I only started 2 days ago, but already I’ve mixed up about 200ml of juice, some variations on same/testing, some just ideas I had before even getting the supplies.
Most recent one was an attempt at a beard vape 05 type juice, not really getting that, but did up a nice milkshake:
smells delicious, tastes close too, but definitely needs more time. Getting that lush butterscotch/caramel, but it’s not as creamy as I’d hoped just yet
I vaping My Banana Cream Pie today and for the past two weeks since it’s creation… it’s the best I’ve ever blended so far. But things have changed a bit in the Lab. I’ve added Tasting Cups, a Dymo Labeler and a Vortex Mixer. I love this hobby. Last weekend I used the cups to create a coffee recipe that I’ll blend today with my new vortex mixer.
Vaping this one today. After 4 months steep it’s really very good. As I said in my original description I’m sure it’s not for everyone. But it’s very nice to me. I went for a custard with orange zest and drizzled with Kahlua.
Yesterday was mixing day for me and the first time I had a chance to test out one of those little “Badger milk frothers”, couldn’t believe it took 3 or 4 hours for the bubbles to dissipate lol…
I used both Heatland nic and the new nic I had gotten from Nic River on the same recipe (different batches)to see if I can taste a difference, I will say right off the bat the NicRiver nic appeared extremely clear (looked like VG) and had no scent, where as Heartland was slightly tan and the nic could be smelt, there is a cost difference but if it tastes as clean as it looked and smelt, I’ll switch to it.
I didn’t have the candy caramel so just left it out. So far it’s a bit too weak for my liking so I might add something or other to it. Give it another day and then see.
And a plain vanilla custard for my partner. she wanted a Vanilla shake type, did best with what I had, tested today, already it’s goooood
Made this on Jan 8. Just trying it today. Using it in the Cera ceramic dripper with dual 22ga Ti in TC.
Not sure if I would like it often, or ever as an ADV. But I’ve dripped it the last hour and think it’s pretty good. I’m wondering if @Flavor_Alchemist might enjoy it.
I can see FLV Lovage may pair up very nicely with melons. It may even work well with some tobacco blends and very possibly stone fruits, apples, pears. I don’t see it going over well with any berries or creams, bakery or candies.
Hey @SthrnMixer …Thanks for thinking of me…Got some vape mail coming my way…Just so happens I got Lovage, and Cactus on THOSE orders…lol…Those meaning about 20 some flavors…Putting together my TOSSED SALAD with Raspberry Vinegarette ingredients…
Don’t have MF Mandarin, but have it in FA…no mints…(maybe I could substitute Koolada in place for the peppermint). and I like the looks of your concoction…Looks like you are going for a “Refreshing” attitude here…which is the inspiration behind my Tossed Salad…also gonna be interested in what the Cactus tastes like…Look forward to hearing (reading) your tasting notes on this…All kinds of ideas swirling around in my head…
