What're you listening to?

Love me some Paul Thorn, even though he lost to Roberto Duran.

Lucky enough to see Billy in 2014 here in Nashville.
Also, with Elton John in Ames, IA 1994 and again with Sir Elton in Charlotte,N.C. 2009. ( That one we flew to Nashville from Omaha, grabbed the boys, rented a car and drove to N.C. Great Vacation )
Some Artist never disappoint you.

If you click your video it plays 6 songs In the upper left corner it says 1/6 (song one of six) …if it’s not working for you ? it may be you have “autoplay” turned off on YouTube …or you can click the right-arrow bar thingy twice to skip to the #3
or just watch below Chuck Mangione’s “Feels So Good” on Ukulele and Banjo

I completely missed what you were saying…gettin’ fukn old…
spouse had to fly to family, just got Izzy out of ear surgery, and Lucy is in her last breaths.
Spent most of the night at the VA after taking a Nam Vet in for a possible heart failure…so it was me,
another old bearded Vet, riding around with a Puma, picking up a domestic cat at the veterinarian…
and people in the parking lot/lobby that would rather have been at their home BBQ’ing with family, that had their own
pet emergency, looking at us going WTF?
Lucy caused the biggest scene…the doctors all had to come see her in the van. It looked like a scene from
MASH meeting the helicopters or something…the other people thought it was some emergency in the parking lot.
They know she is on her last [3 legs] and she will pass soon, so they all had to come see her.
Got Landrau back to the Veterans Home, and Santos had fallen out of his wheelchair scaring the shit out of everyone…
but I am back home now, and the other 50 mouths think it’s time to eat…me first, me first…sounds like a fukn zoo here. I thought it would be a simple quiet time this weekend, and get some of these carpets shampooed.
I apologize, Brother, my head wasn’t screwed on tight when I asked…I knew it, but totally missed the part where you said Mangione…ukelele…tomorrow I plan to rest, spend most of the day with Lucy on my lap…the carpets can wait. Think I will ice down a 12 of some I.P.A.
God bless you…wishing you a very Patriotic 4th.

Edit: you think jazz banjo is weird, come by the campfire here…I usually jam using a C-melody sax…yep…bluegrass.

Been like this for years, but I had help too. All but about 15 will have new good homes by this fall.
The 4-H kids have grown up and not much interest from the high school kids anymore…
too much like work, and not like a petting zoo, and 75% never show up after committing.
Their parents even call me with excuses. Getting too old to do it all. Two reptiles eat a live chicken every two days, so I have to raise the chickens. Lucy eats a big steak every day [down to about a 4lb cut] The raptors eat almost 3lbs of red raw meat a day. The Emus eat with the Mustangs and Burros, but still need grains. I have to cut hay for the winter. The woodpeckers eat homemade suet [and hummingbird water] and bugs I buy.
50 mouths is pretty easy now…I have been sorting the critters out since May, so almost half are gone.
Wanna come help? I will feed you homemade food, mostly organic. Baked goods too, from scratch…homemade pasta? Homemade marinara to cover it with? Make new friends…kiss a python…pet a Puma [on your lap] ( for a short while now)

Edit: So that’s also what I’m listening to…and the music is sweet…purrs and coo’s and snorts and screeches and hissing and even slithers…
[for the record, this post is not off topic…it is music at the most natural level.]
