In the freezer for longevity. I keep 120mls around for mixing. Done and done.
So what is the difference between fridge and freezer?
Either would be fine, I have a deep freezer in the basement that has plenty of extra storage, so that’s where mine goes. When I refill my “working nic” I take it out of cryo storage for an hour or so before. ![]()
Think if i put mine in the freezer the wife be like wtf is that and toss it out, least in fridge she knows its there ![]()

@WelshDragon80 I know a lot about NIC storage, and will be glad to help. If you are NEW to nigh strength NIC, use CAUTION !!! It can be FATAL to pets and children. The freezer is MUCH better, as it keeps the NIC fresher much longer.
You should always use quality glass bottles with good caps. I seal mine in tape, and then put them in ziplocks for added protection. Break down your big bottle into smaller ones, and only take ONE out to mix with (working bottle), and when empty, move to the next bottle.
have you bought any nic lately?? I was thinking about grabbing another liter (as if i need it) I dont have any delosi so wanted to add it to the stock
Yes, I topped off the 2nd med freezer with some Delosi freebase. I do miss the “old” pricing from LNW.
I buy mine at 100ml and 72mg nic, and keep it on the fridge…
Heat, light, and atmosphere (air) are the 3 things that oxidize NIC. The more of any, or all of them, the faster the NIC will degrade. As it does, it will darken, loose strength, and eventually start to taste very bad, and will become unusable. Obviously, the longer you store it, the more important it becomes.
If you burn through your NIC bottle in a couple of months, it won’t matter much and it will probably still be very good. It all depends on your burn rate, and how long your NIC will stay in storage, and as to how many precautions you need to take.
I only use like 3 grams per bottle as i use emg in 50ml - 60ml bottle so nic lasts me a while so jence in the fridge
@WelshDragon80 I completely forgot to drop some quality bottles/caps for you, just in case. I’ve gone through about every shitty, low cost and some high cost bottles that sucked, and the caps were worse. Caps break, you’ve got a mess.
Wheaton has never let me down, and with Phenolic Poly Seal line caps.
Mine has been stored at minus 20 for over a decade. Obviously works great, tastes great and is prone to seperating as I learned about nic salts. The mfgr told me never freeze nic salts as there will be serious chemical seperation into pure nicotine. I found out after getting sick and vomiting from 3 puffs. The regular 100 base requires a LOT OF agitation before pouring off a liter for mixing and thats kept refrigerated or regular freezer if Im mixing too slowly.
@Mad_Bricky I’d never heard about specific Salts separation, but NIC as a whole, CAN get “Hot Spots”, especially after sitting dormant for long periods, and must be fully shake to disperse it evenly. One of the WORST decisions I’ve ever made, was to buy 100% VG Salts. Was almost solid below -35F, and even when FULLY warmed, was almost impossible to really shake up. 100% PG Freebase NIC however, while thicker at sub zero temps, is at least manageable.
I keep mine the the Freezer. Amber Bottles with Poly Cone caps. After I fill my working bottle, I spray a one second shot of ART Wine Preserver in the freezer bottle to displace Oxygen. I have had some bottles in storage this way for 3 years and when I tested the nicotine level recently (new 100mg/ml) it was 98.7% nicotine concentration after all those years.
