Well give us a holler next time you’re in the area.
Brat Stop has decent food and beer, lots and lots of beer.
PERK Brats? Now we’re talkin’!
I think I’m going to make a suggestion to Muldoon’s, that they offer a ground brat pastie!
I’ve not met anyone from ELR. I’m in Massachusetts- I feel like there’s nobody else in this gawd awful state lol Nice that you met up with TZ though!
Had a coffee at Dunkin Donuts this morning with @DayTimeFrank, it was nice to meet him in person, he’s a class act
You have your horses though!
That I do and honestly between them and my dog and of course my daughter, that’s all I need
What part of Mass-Hole?!
I’ve not had the chance to personally meet up with any ELR’rs yet, but I’ve talked to a lot of you on the phone. My favorite STILL has to be @SmokyBlue. I run a lot of conference calls every day, and a few times, Smoky just called, and I ADDED her in !!! Non of my co-workers DIY, but many buy from me, so they had SOME interest (just barely) in DIY’ing/mixing, etc. At first I wasn’t sure what in the hell would happen, but in the end, every time she ended up calling, it was a complete train-wreck-hoot.
For those who DON’T know, she and I used to get into God awful drag out fights here on ELR. Wait, WHUT ?? !!! YES. We used to argue about “How to Mix”, “Mixing by Drops”, and why “Flavorah was GREAT, or NOT great”, and so on. Well, despite getting into these, hehe, “HEATED” discussions here, we still talked on the phone. Now the FUNNY thing is, we became best buds. Now how in the HELL is that possible ?? Well, many times (not always), people can loose sight, focus, and start HAMMERING AWAY, mad monkey keyboard style, post, post, posting here, or on other forums, as, well, they’re ISOLATED, even INSULATED behind the faceless online postings. When you’re actually face to face, or even talking DIRECTLY, things very often CHANGE.
Long story short, it is NEVER a bad idea to MEET, or TALK TO fellow ELR’ers.
I’m originally from Mass… but not allowed to drive on the public roads up there since that incident in '85
It was cool getting to meet you!
Same here Frank, and thanks for picking up the tab
Hope I didn’t scare ya with my driving skills
Nope. My wife drives much worse. Anytime brother!
Well I’ll take that as a compliment! At least I made it home in one piece…
Next time I’ll bring my truck and we’ll be heading for the rhubarb
I wish I could meet up with every one of you!!
I miss ya’ll.
Hope everyone is well.
Just left Colorado, headed for South Texas.
Have not met anyone from here. There are a couple of people who live “near” me relatively speaking, but they are still a fair drive away…
Good to see some of you get to socialise though, good to actually meet internet friends sometimes I reckon.
Nice set-up @Alisa, be great travelling around in that.
Hope the trail stays happy.
So good to see you again.
