Why do all my recipes have max three percent flavor and still too strong and seems like most people use twenty percent

Thanks David should of thought about Ebay. I have an ultra sonic that heats up I may keep tooling around until i find what I want to really put my $ on. I mix Alot and have several going at a time/ steeping at a time as well. I may just do the Ebay way and see if Im that into it prior to making a bigger investment. I’m frugal would rather save my $$$ for tons of flavor and nic !

I bought a new one from Socal Biomedical. UPS or Fedx dropped it off today. I will post up some results as soon as I am able.

what did you buy from socal biomedical ? The magnectic hot plate ?

Found this short video of some mixing I made using my DIY stirrer. When making a lot of different batches at the same time, I tend to use the same glass container I plan on steeping mix. I bought these at Bed Bath & Beyond for .99 each (Spice rack section). Seemed like every time I poured mix from one glass to another I lost juice. This saved time and has a flat bottom with lids for splash protection and don’t have to washes between batches.

Yeah Amy, a magnetic stirrer/hotplate. They had one on sale with a free temp probe and a 2yr warranty. It took 2 weeks and a phone call to customer service to get to me in NC. The one I ordered was out of stock and on back order. I wound up with a Benchmark that was listed for $119 more than what I had ordered, They never emailed me or called to let me know the status of my order. I called them Monday afternoon and gave them H E double L. I got my stirrer Thursday.

very cool ! I pulled out my ultra sonic and thought let me run a few batches through this guy again and see if I want another piece of electronic in my small apartment (550 sq ft ) I live outside of Seattle ( small small small apartments) ANyhoo I still think i’m going to wait on it for a little bit. Maybe for my birthday. Defiantly give me so feedback if you get time and can do a comparison test run w/ the stirrer vs your other steeping methods !!! I’ll be looking forward to it .

Not trying to butt in here David but would love to see how you like the heating plate once you get some time with it. Post a pic. Or video of it in action. I’ve also been thinking about purchasing an official lab heat/stirrer. Would also be interested in if you notice a difference in nicotin levels with heat. Thanks.

What other kinds of recipes do you make? I don’t think I could even vape 2% Dill pickle, and 1% Sour would be high for any of my 20% recipes. There are lots of other single flavors where only a little is needed. But what about something like a Fruit and Cream recipe, which often have 3-8% of each the Fruit and the Creams, or something like a Bakery or Pie recipe? Or a simple Fruit Mix like Peach and Pear which I do each at about 6-8%. I have recipes that call for 2-3% of each ingredient, but then there may be 5-7 ingredients for a total of 15%. BTW yeah, you don’t want to use real Brown Sugar, but you can use something like TFA Brown Sugar flavor and other sweeteners like Sucralose or Stevia.

@ Ggrhauling @Amy2 I will be sure to post up some results in a few days. I’ve been on 12 hr graveyard shift for the last 3 wks and not had much time. I may make up a batch when I get home in the morning.
@Ggrhauling. I was thinking that to keep from degrading the nicotine I could heat and mix the pg/vg and flavors thoroughly, turn the heat off and add the nic last.
