Wick disappears in coil

Apparently not the people that bought the “New Car Smell in a
Can” and poisoned themselves.

I am one of those that taste the metal from coils… it only started about 3 or 4 weeks after I started vaping and I’ve been tasting it ever since.
Give me a juice that I know, the same cotton a 4 coils, Ka, Ni80, SS and Ti and I can pick out all of them blindfolded. They all have a different taste but I’m the least bothered by SS.
So yeah @Harlan_Grey, I can believe it when you say you taste the “plastic”. Everyone has different senses, I’m nearly blind to some flavors but apparently I can taste all the bad ones from metal, pepper in TPA (and some other vanillas), chemical eggs from custards and quite a few concentrates give me burnt rubber even in the lower range use.

I believe that Top Gear once did an episode on analyzing all the disgusting stuff you get in the carpet, on the seats etc of used cars. If you ever see that show, you’ll never buy a used car again  You can air out a new car, used cars need a real deep cleaning and more.

Harmless to owners & occupants, but it kills the car 100 miles after the warranty expires.

(+1 for Rayon)

The consternation with respect to rayon utilization from some folks is that the process used to fabricate and spin the wood pulp (cellulose) involves sodium hydroxide (lye). After fabrication the spun yarn is neutralized with acid and then washed. The purists are concerned that they are vaping chemical remnants and it may be toxic. Cotton (even organic) is also susceptible to pesticides and even say radioactive exposure (think Japan and the reactor accidents i.e. Fukushima), processed cotton is also subject to cleaning involving chemicals. If you are that worried from a health standpoint about purity you can boil your cotton (several times) in distilled water and dry it before utilization. I think that the key here is avoiding dry hits. I know of many people including myself that have been using Rayon for over 5 years with no negative issues. But if you aren’t comfortable and want to be as safe as possible I would recommend the twice boiled cotton method.

Maybe his e-liquid was the culprit and not the cellulose/rayon.

I can’t stand “new car smell” maybe it’s because I grew up around the Detroit area and everybody works with plastic here too. I never could though.
