Wotofo Elder Dragon Review by SessionDrummer

I’m all about the battery life myself especially for my daily drivers.

The only complaint I have with one of my EDs is the tight ass fit of the top cap. I have to keep it lubed or else use a screwdriver to pry it off. I considered removing the bottom o-ring on the deck.

Wow @Lostmarbles that’s really saying something. I never really had “great” luck with single coilers, but once I tried the ED, I too, began to re-assess.

When not in use, I store them with the top cap just sitting on the deck. Then I just lube the o-ring when I need to use it. If left too long unused with the top cap fully on, those orings can be a PITA.

The longer I vape, the less massive clouds do it for me. Don’t get me wrong, fogging out a room can be a blast, but if I’m comparing flavor to flavor, the singles are much more comfortable at the end of the day and the right coil will give me just as much flavor. While going through all my vape junk that I don’t use, I came across a spool of NI80 30g and decided to twist 3 or 4 strands of it together then clapton that with a 40g SS. Works great on the ED, LeSupersonic and the Taifun BTD Wave. For me, the flavor I got out of that was on point and at 27 - 30W, I get decent battery life.

I’m not ashamed to admit that I did this today :

They’re 1.5mm ID coils (N80 SFC: 2x30/40ga). I’ve seen someone post bigger coils but they were above the airflow. I wanted to see what would fit in the middle. If they made some different airflow inserts, regular sized dual coils would probably be an option. I thought about filing those curves off but decided not to .

Its good, but not as good as one of my single coils. I’ve never made or wick’d 1.5mm coils before this .

Lol, I’ve never made a 1.5mm ever. But I’ve made plenty 2mm for Kayfuns and the OG dual coil Goblin tank. Remember how tiny that deck was? Guys with gorilla fingers were cursing it out, lmao, but what flavor! That was the first tank with true RDA flavor but it stood in the shadow of the Subtank Mini which paled in comparison for flavor. Also, the Delta II tank got lost in the Subtank Mini craze and that had better flavor, too. That’s a great tank to make chimney coils on. If they made a short enough mesh coil with legs I wonder if it could be installed on the Delta II?

I hear you. There’s a reason I like my Kayfuns and other similar tanks. I can’t always be fogging up my house, it’s bad enough with my chain vaping. I’m constantly wiping down my windows.
