Would like an opinion on percentages from my ELR family

Hi guys, I know this is a little unorthodox, but the truth is I have been thinking about this recipe for a while, haven’t made it yet, and am running low on some…most actually, of the ingredients, and as I have just been on holiday my vape bank is low for another 3 weeks so …I’d like to get off to a good start, you’ve been amazing with your advice on pretty much everything and I bow down to your mixology knowledge, if you wouldn’t mind just taking a quick sneaky peak at my recipe and tell me if you think my numbers are at about the right starting point or whether you change them around a bit for a first batch.
Thankings in advance

for the record I am trying to achieve a mellow, creamy, milky vanilla banana.

I would drop one of the creams, there’s 4 of them in there really, as banana cream has, well, a creamy note to it. You don’t really need french vanilla and vanilla swirl. They might drown out your banana a little between them. Banana cream isn’t all that strong, I’d probably up it to 3%-4% if I wanted it to be the star, and drop marshmallow and meringue back to 1% each

Thank you, very much appreciate the advice, I hadn’t looked at the banana cream as a cream you’re bang on there, cheers :+1: might get a bit ‘vomity’…

I use banana cream a lot, love it  It’s a lot mellower than Ripe banana, that one can be potent, but banana cream is pretty light to my taste. If you over do creams the mix can get a little soapy aye - less is more sometimes

I’ve edited, see if that looks a bit better, I know this is technically cheating but I wont be able to try it again for a few weeks lol…your really helping me out :+1:

It looks more like it now to me at least  sounds tasty too. No cheating, just sharing ideas

I look to other recipes when I’m trying to come up with one all the time btw, especially if using an ingredient that’s new to me. I’ll go read notes and check other mixer’s recipes, see how they’re using it  It’s all part of it. Let us know how it turns out

I like the little touch of Strawberry… This looks promising. Great advice from @Uncaged Doubtful as a SnV with those creams, looking forward to this one!

That sounds delicious but I haven’t had any luck at all with banana flavors. When I first started vaping I used a couple of commercial vapes that tasted like banana’s and I really liked them. (Alpha/Omega Monkey Music)

I’m not trying to hijack your thread but as long as you brought it up… what’s everyone’s favorite banana’s?

I would love a good banana vape again!

yeah its a bit of everything I’ve learnt so far from trying other people’s recipes, it was wayne from Diyordie that put a bit of strawberry in with his banana cream for ‘cereal milk’ and it really gave it a little something, it was that recipe that kicked this one off, and you’re bang on with the steep, I’m guessing 2 weeks at least, gonna be hard to keep away from it though :yum:

I’ve been using DX Banana Cream (TPA). When it’s forward in a mix, it tastes like Banana “flavor” or even Laffy Taffy, but ducked behind some creams and cookies, it settles down a bit. I’m probably gonna order some of the ripe, though, and try that too.
