That’s the only way I run my goons. Dual twisted 26 or triple twisted 28 or the new spools of clapton I got from lightningvapes. With a dual coil SS build I can get 20ish drips in there which is about 3/4 of a ml and then get a good 6 to 10 pulls before the vape starts getting weak without any worry of a dry hit. The first time I got a burnt/dry hit on the goon in VW mode was the last time I used non-TC wire in it. I only run kanthal in my RTA and that is only because I have a bunch of prebuilt coils and spools of wire I bought I feel compelled to not let go to waste.

Just a heads up if you are about to order some SS316. SS got a much lower resistance than kanthal, just so you remember to take that into consideration for when buy. But you can use http://www.steam-engine.org/ to check the difference, play around there so you can decide on the gauge that will fit your needs/liking.
