I have the XTAR VC8, what is the difference between that and the XTAR VC8 PLUS?

About 10 to 15 bucks and 2 USB ports.

I just got a reply from imrbatteries from ebay. They said “The VC8 plus charges cells at a higher amperage rate.”
So now I know it is that plus the addition of the USC port.

Still 4 to 5 hr charge of 21700 and 18650 between 2 to 3 hrs. It’s marketing jargon to sell the up grade. Your paying for the 2 USB ports.
Like the you got more. Fast charging isn’t what it’s cracked up to be.

Yep, that was the whole point of an 8 bay charger, to eliminate the waiting times. Now that I fixed the problem, and with a Nitecore 4 bay charger as a back up, I am good for awhile.

I have the 8 bay in my office. It isn’t fancy but gets the job done. 4 bay Miboxer on the table next to me where I spend most of my time.
