Thanks very much for that @big_vape, I did not know that.
Got the wife one of these early November (she uses a very dirty liquid )her ursa mini lasts about two weeks I’ve just changed her pod in the pure max today so they last well on that front 7 weeks or so But the power select has gone up the creek the .8 pod she uses leaks every now and again I’ve got two of the v2 turning up soon so will see if they turn out any better ( then I can pull the other one apart) the pod has got a pad in the bottom of it so once this is soaked in fluid it’s going to leak But there’s another one I filled a .6 pod up thinking I was going to get to use it as well used about a third of the pod and it’s been sitting since no leaks.there’s been a slow release on these I’ll let you all know of what the v2 is like when it turns up
Well they finally turned up v2 and new pods new colours (wife’s choice not mine but you never know) air holes have been moved easier to get in and out and a different fill port ,the old pods fit and can be removed easily which means they changed the inner dimensions some how but not noticeable could also be the power pin’s smaller
If anything pops out that might be of interest I’ll let you all know
Yep for a pod not bad flavour is there I find it seems to make the nic hit harder so my wife has dropped to 10 mlg nic salt from her usual 20 mlg in the ,8 pods ,I think the temp control part of these are the reason we get the longer lasting pods I’ve been using the .4 ohm pods (completely different pod but same tech)in the og pure max vi with a Comercial juice and have got nearly 3000 hits on it and it’s still going. Now that the first batch has been out and had the few failings fixed maybe they will become more available for the masses but all said and done worth picking up as run around device
I’d not considered that, but that makes sense.
Stops over cooking the liquid on the coils I would figure when I pulled a pod apart the coil was still fairly clean it was only the little pad on the bottom of the pod that was leaking they probably could leave that out
I just double checked mine, and I still have 4 in rotation, but no leaks. I did overfill a few and they dribbled a bit, but that was my fault.
When you get a dead one pull it apart pop the bottom out it’s quite interesting to see how it’s put together one of the strange things I do
Mine leaks like crazy…
I’ve heard a tip maybe don’t let the liquid in the old rubber pods go below the juice holes it Lets air in so it wicks more
Thank you @Primopup. What VG/PG ratio are you running in your leaker ?
That’s an interesting tip.
Apparently the first batch with the rubber fill port were testers pre production the side fill is the retail release I can see the theory as they have massive cotton holes where if the fluid drops below the top of the hole it lets air in and continue s to wick hence the leak as I said I’ve had a .6 sitting in the cupboard full up no leaks if the air can’t get in the fluid shouldn’t be able to get out because of the back suction
Well they should say that they where testers, as I paid full retail and ordered extra pods…
Now the pod stuck onto the unit and we could not get it off even no how, no way…
I threw it right into the fire pit, I lost all my patience with it, between the leaking mess, and now a welded on pod, it wasn’t worth it when sitting.besides me is my Cabeo on a beautiful Preludo by Strangermods.
The one thing I’ve learned never get the first batch but shinnyitus wins every time
As someone whos used tc for several years now, and tried several dna mods, i have to agree. I prefer the yihi chips, at least for the 350j & later iterations. I know alot of people dont like yihi due to the parasitic drain. Thankfully none of my yihi mods have had it…
Alright, alright, alright !!! Thanks to David at SXmini, I’m testing out the new SXmini Pro Pods !!!
I like Mesh Rta’s they bang well at 45-55₩ BUT much cheaper than sub ohm or pnp pop in coils on a single 21700 mod
