Yogurt that's not DX?

FW yoghurt has a :warning: contains Diacetyl,

Oooh :smiling_imp:

Honestly I don’t care if it has diacetyl, I just don’t want the butric acid in it, at least not at the levels that I’m assuming are in the other two I’ve tried. Is there somewhere that I can see how much BA is in a flavor?

I don’t get any pukey taste w/ TFA’s it is Pg based. https://shop.perfumersapprentice.com/p-7989-greek-yogurt-flavor.aspx

and now that we know we should not be combining BA along w/ other diketones yogurt mixes / cereal mixes are tougher to build. BA is essentially the devil it continues to circulate longer in our systems than the other diketones. So keep’em separated

Oh man I didn’t realize that! So how do we know which flavors have ba in them?

As far as ELR we can check it under the flavor Lars puts up the triangle warning signs. I go to TFA’s site and look at the ingredients as well.

I don’t want to give the wrong impression here… BA is fine to use w/o other diketones but since it stays longer in our systems it isn’t a good idea to be vaping other diketone mixes around the time you’re vaping BA mixes since this will keep all of them in our systems longer.

Great info! Had no idea about the two not being good to mix. Not that I’ll ever buy a yogurt flavor… I’m sure I’ll end up with something that has BA in it. And I have a few that have the D/A/AP factor.

Given I try to stay as informed as I can, do you by chance have a link(s) to anything that specifically addresses this?

Doh! Ninja- edited as I was typing it out! Lol
Were you watching me type? o0 :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Thing is we vape all types of juices all day long so it’s not just what’s in your mix it’s what’s in your line up really. All your tanks

Yes I was watching you @Sprkslfly

Yep.

Don’t you wish every vendor did what TFA does in that regard?

And I have several of them, and have never noticed that pukey flavor in anything other than yogurt. Now I’m wondering if the premade “yogurt” juices I’ve liked in the past even had yogurt flavor in them or if it was actually something else…? Maybe I just don’t like yogurt flavor. Lol

I believe under a certain ppm they ( vendors ) don’t have to advertise as them ( BA ) being listed.

I’m scared of yogurt in vapor. I eat too much of the real thing and greatly fear some kind of cross contamination in my brain of taste perception. I would have no idea of what I would eat for breakfast anymore if I messed that up for myself.

TFA Greek is my go to. It’s what I expect from a European style yogurt, light, creamy and sour - just like the real thing. Some of my favorite juices are Greek yogurt based. It plays well with just about any fruits.

Maybe I’ll give it a go one more time and try tpa Greek yogurt.

I haven’t gotten the " Pukey " taste but the smell is kinda pukey off the vapor. I keep it low around 1-2% in a mix ( TFA )

I’ve used TFA Greek up to 7% in mixes, usually with other creams in there too and fruits. I love the sour note, but I get that some don’t. I think in the States especially, they’re more used to a sweeter, thick cream yogurt. I like both, but Greek with some cream fresh or Bavarian/Vienna cream can be quite creamy and tasty too. Certainly not one I’d use as a solo flavoring though.

I believe Freshepies aka Fresh03 made a pretty famous yogurt called “Addy’s Yogurt” and I believe his percentages are higher, in the 8-9% region. It’s actually been made into a concentrate that you can buy online from Adore Liquids and part of the procedes if not all of them go to Notblowingsmoke.org

Disclaimer: I’m just a simple Canuck guy, I don’t benefit from endorsing this dude. I just think he’s a great person and puts on a decent diy show every saturday.

Yeah Fresh uses Greek Yogurt at 8% in the recipe Addys Yogurt and it is a decent recipe for sure.
