Everyone sees eggnog flavoring and only thinks eggnog for sone reason. Flv eggnog is actually a pretty versitile flavor to use for other purposes. Now fw eggnog on the other hand can only be used for the garbage can.
That recipe is pretty good… Simple and delicious. I haven’t made it in awhile. Ill have to whip up a bottle.
Condensed Milk RFSC Or Cheesecake LA works good for the mouthfeel but really anything we do is going to be lacking. Last night i had a small glass of eggnog and went to rinse the glass, it stuck so well that even hot water alone wouldnt remove it. Thats what we are dealing with.
I’ve never had Hood Eggnog, and nut sure if it’s sold down here, but it’s devoid of any spices @Rocky02852 ?? The SSA IC and TPA Vanillin are interesting …
No, not your typical eggnog spices in the Limited Edition Vanilla flavor,
I know @Lynda_Marie just finished a half gallon maybe she can shed some light on the taste she gets,
to me it taste like the ol’skool McDonalds Vanilla Shake from the ‘80s, before they changed the recipe
Ill ad a bit more when i see if the power is stable. Ill leave this tidbit, @Beaufort_Batches used Sweet Woodruff in one he sent me, its was fargin awesome.
Jeeze I had help on the half gallon
Yea, I get similar to a melted McDonald’s milkshake…I don’t get eggy. It’s different from the “golden”eggnog. No spice, no egg. I honestly think they should sell it year round… It’s creamy, almost like 1/2&1/2 with a silky dairy. The vanilla reminds me of vanilla cream extra (WF).
Recap because my thoughts are scattered
1/2&1/2 with whole milk and vanilla cream extra (WF)
Does your wife know you only use hot water to wash the dishes?
This looks good and I was going to suggest a replacement for Vanilla Whipped Cream that would be the same profile but creamier but realized it wasn’t in the rules. Dayum, this is bewitching.
Yes, when HIC was still around, (a long time ago) we were messaging back and forth on the Holidays one year and together we concocted this.
@Beaufort_Batches I know you know this, but I love how you break these things down to the granular level, and build them back up. Always impressive…

Mmmm damn that looks good. I never thought of using a crème brûlée in an eggnog and combined with INW Custard that would make a killer starting point for an full creamy eggnog recipe.
I know that looks like a lot of different flavors but each one besides the spice seemed to bump up to a near perfect Eggnog. The Kettle Corn is for a little body, all it really does is add some buttery essence. Doesn’t really need it but I myself liked it better with.
