I have never made an eggnog recipe public …Probably because they didnt have that somthing about eggnog feel , but they may work for someone else right ?? @Ken_O_Where
I attempted a scratch Holiday nog a few years ago. It was going in the right direction. The slight spice note from VTA warm custard fit nicely with the Milk & Honey. I think the holiday spice threw it off. Maybe I’ll retry with a straight Nutmeg flavor.
Ya , ive made good eggnogs but the thickness i want is lacking and the spice notes arent what i want…Maybe im aiming too high? Maybe ill go commercial cream heavy??
I thought the same thing maybe FLV Eggnog with an old school mouth coating heavy cream base. Throw in some FA Jamaican rum for the extra spice note.
I never liked the spices but I got the thickest when I mixed in banana, I do think part of my problem was eggnog is different here than what FLV offers. Didn’t realise the mix was from 2018, I’d use different creams now.
Something i been working on but havent finished. It was kind of a random thing. I was dripping my apple jax recipe and was like hmm what does it do if i drip my coquito juice with it and was like damn that gives the sweetness and real body the eggnog has been missing and the right cinnamon note. I just gotta work out the percentages more.

Ya…Im gonna sit down and push the eggnog as far as I can then throw a thick ass commercial heavy cream base …Honestly im just not sure i can do better than i alresdy have.
You know I love my Milk N Honey and tried it every which way, but I always get a choco note from it in Nog
Really a choco note from using M&H in a nog🤔 that could be the problem with that recipe I kept getting a weird off note. I’m going to retry without the M&H.
I’ve made homemade eggnog numerous times and it always comes out great. It’s just time consuming. I’m sure a vape version will be just as tedious. For me most eggnog e-liquids are never eggy enough. Would that egg yolk flavoring add more of an yolk flavor to an eggnog? I’ve never tried it.
I don’t make a habit of Eggnog but Devon Cream (CCW) and Cornish Cream (SSA) have that fatty mouthfeel you may be looking for.
My latest try at Hood VEN uses Cornish Cream, Hood Vanilla Eggnog has little to none eggnog spices but tastes like vanilla ice cream that has melted in the bowl… it reminds me of the Mc D’s VanShakes before they changed the recipe…
Hood Vanilla Eggnog
1.00% Cornish Cream (SSA)
0.20% Eggnog (Flavorah)
2.30% Ice Cream (SSA)
1.20% Sweetness (Flavorah)
2.00% Vanilla Whipped Cream (CAP)
1.00% Vanillin 10% (PG) (TPA)
Flavor total: 7.7%
I have thought about going low instead of higher, ive went to 0.5pct but didnt get what i was wanting…
Great advice…Currently im not trying to make an eggnog.Ive seen alot of talk about eggnog and wanted to see whatbothers were doing with it . Since ive never shared publicly i figured this was the perfect place
Wow, that is low. I don’t know how it would break through.
I could probably leave it for what I’m going for but I can’t help but not use it…
The Van Eggnog has no typical eggnog spices in it, just deliciousness…
I would imagine hes just using the eggnog for the spice not the mouthfeel , hes built that with other flavors
And of course you post something while im typing , Lol
