@VapeyMama, How would this recipe taste without the Butter Rum (LA) ??
Want to try it but don’t have that flavor - would Jamaican Rhum (FA) be an OK substitute for that ? What % ?

Honestly the butter rum is pretty much the star here, it gives the whole thing a very specific flavor. That being said, I can’t imagine it would be bad if you subbed your rum flavor (although I haven’t used that one, so I can’t really suggest a %), and a caramel or butterscotch flavor on top of that would probably get you closer.

I saw that burnt sugar while I was browsing today, is it an authentic tasting burnt sugar? Or… how would you describe it?

Have you tried inw creme brulee? If so do you think it has more or less of that burnt/deep dark caramel flavor?

@Pap hit a home run with this one. I mixed a 30ml and it didn’t last long enough to steep :grin: so mixed 2 60s and stuck one in the steep box.

mixed it 2 days ago and it is good , but i will wait another 2 weeks for my final test
