Iāve had a few of your coils sent to me by an ELR family member and they are fantastic coils. Unfortunately I donāt do social media. Itās like garlic to a vampire for me.

Even their pre-wound are the same price for a 10-pack as local sites charge for 2 coils, not that Iād buy pre-made - the only pre-wound coils Iāve ever used are the ones come with the tanks Iāve bought: soon as theyāre filthy I toss em and return to my round *kanthal.
*to be replaced, soon as the 250ft spool of 28ga ni80 arrivesā¦ plus a smaller 30ft roll of 26ga SS I ordered just to try TC, since Iāve still never used it.
Got plenty of round kanthal already so didnāt bother with anymore of that shit.
Iāve bookmarked it for future use.

they are machine rolled so they are perfect looking

Wish Iād have seen that image before I started using steamengine and throwing out all itās results wondering what the hell I was doing wrong! This with the leg length alone is why I could never get a coil to ohm out at what was suggested. I always just presumed leg length was from the very edge of the coil. Just made a couple using this image as a guide and Iām BANG ON the 0.30 Iām aiming for.
Anyway, this is why I love this community!

I was definitely doing a few things wrong and thanks to everyone explaining and showing pics I was able to achieve my goal when I made my next few coils. I did throw out several I made but felt the need to use the ones that ohmād out at .19 due to feeling a sense of accomplishment 
. Iām glad you were able to figure yours out as well!
