If you have FAR Pineapple, I would add 2% along with the 2% Pineapple Mango, as I would suspect those are the same pineapple. If not, you’ll be mixing pineapples which may be a good thing or possibly a bad thing. I don’t know what orange flavors you have, so I would recommend looking them up in your flavor stash, picking one you like and going with the average mixing quantity listed on the details page. Remember, as we stated above, you like the fruity stuff and I just dabble with it. This is just a mad scientist experiment I threw together and it worked so well, I made it public
I do have both FAR Pineapple and FAR Pineapple Mango. I have many oranges, but not FAR Orange. I am not good at “dabbling” like a mad scientist, but thank you so much! Here is my flavor stash:
This is what I have so far according to your ATF recipe.
2 VT Creaming Soda
?? (?) Orange
2 FAR Pineapple
2 FAR Pineapple Mango
2 CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream
1 VT Sweet Mate
That link takes me back to my stash. Not sure how all that works in the background, but pretty sure you have to make your stash “public” first
Never mind, I was able to backdoor it (it’s public)
Let’s just say I think you have about 10 times as many oranges as I do. I would probably start with FE Sweet Orange 2%
2 VT Creaming Soda
2 FE Sweet Orange
2 FAR Pineapple
2 FAR Pineapple Mango
2 CAP Vanilla Whipped Cream
1 VT Sweet Mate
Thank you Robert! Will make this tomorrow and let it steep for a week.
Much appreciate your time!
You’re welcome, just don’t try to nail me down for steep times - I have so many experiments & finished recipes in queue that steeping has been taken completely out of the equation for me
According to your Mamaloi recipe, you suggested 14 day steep time, so that is what I will do. This noob truly appreciates your effort and time to help me with your orange fruit suggestion. Thank you.
You can probably get away with a week. I suggested two weeks for the whipped cream to settle in, but I really wouldn’t know since it took a month for me to get around to it
Then 2 weeks is what I will plan on. Love your sense of humor!
What was your vg/pg ratio that you used?
I stick with 60v/40p
BTW, in case anyone wondered, this is where I got the name
LOL. Thank you again for your help!
Gawd, you have my mouth watering! EC Blends is new to me and I was just perusing their website. I might have to cave in.
What’s the difference with their Creme Collection? What’s TFE stand for, tobacco free or nicotine free?
If you’re mixing from scratch, you may be better served to go to flavorartists.com. EC Blend is the premix site and Flavor Artists is the concentrates they developed. Creme Collection is a series of “one-shots”, though the ones I’ve tried tend to need a little help (most do for me anyway) Some of their blend flavors are outstanding. Not sure about TFE , but I think you’re right (or close)
Cons:
Eclectic sizes available for different flavors (though the dropper bottles are better quality than most)
Slightly more expensive than, say BCF
Paypal only (last visit anyway)
May take a few days to get an order out
They’ve been a frequent target for our flavor police (why I don’t mix here anymore)
Pros:
Yeah, it’s worth the above
Sorry for the delay in replying, I was not on the computer at all yesterday. TFE is Tobacco Free E-liquid, but I also know it is now Nicotine Free because now you have to add your own nicotine shots now, bought either through EC Blends or from your own nicotine stash. I really don’t know much about their Creme Collection other than that it is part of their signature series and that it is yummy, lol. I love their flavors and still buy an occasional flavor mix from them. I love their Create Your Own Blend feature as well ( https://www.ecblendflavors.com/01-create-your-own-e-liquid-wizard-by-flavor-vapor/ ), and that feature was what turned me into DIY’ing. They are so much better than the Commercialized Flavors you buy at the vape shops. It was so sad to see them now selling nicotine shots separately and forcing customers to mix their own through their Flavorless link.
( https://www.ecblendflavors.com/flavorless-e-base-e-liquid-tfe/ ), since the Pact Act, but it is still better than them closing down. It USED to be that you were buying flavored juices with customizable nicotine and vg/pg ratios, but that feature is gone. I know you love coffee vapes and my hubby loves their Espresso with Vanilla 'n Crème and @robrrt1 loves their Espresso with Crème. Now my hubby especially loves their Horchata 'n Crème.
A lot of their famous e-liquids are gone now .
“They’ve been a frequent target for our flavor police (why I don’t mix here anymore)”
What do you mean specifically?
There is a location not too far from me so I can bypass the shipping fees and just pick it up, but when I place an order through their website, they do take credit cards as well as Paypal.
I didn’t even realize that Flavor Artists were their own brand of flavors until you told me. I assumed that EC Blends used the common name brands. I did buy a few individual FAR flavors like Pineapple, Mango, Coconut Candy, Kiwi because the recipe of Tropical Twist (one of my favorite juices by ECB (https://www.ecblendflavors.com/tropical-twist-e-liquid-tfe/) ) was leaked to me once by accident. I did have to order Coconut Candy using the drop down list on Create Your Own concentrate to get that one. I did a taste comparison test of the individual flavors from FAR and the other common brands and it does bear a resemblance to the FAR flavors. When I mixed up the percentages that were leaked to me, I made a juice using the FAR flavors only and then I made a juice with the flavors that I thought tasted similar and this is what I got. The mixologist did tell me that the rum was by FA. The recipe I posted using other common brand flavors does taste very similar to the actual e-juice from ECB.
Probably my fav, mixed with some ddl & sweetner
Not going into it. I’ m done
FAR is PayPal only as of my last order couple of months ago
You might like my Hawaiian Punch
I just checked my stash, I was pleasantly surprised to see I do have FAR Passion Fruit, but I don’t have FAR Apricot. I do have everything else. What do you recommend as a sub? This recipe looks so darn good, thank you for sharing!
