nah not really, i guess these are just the things you have to learn… I’ve bought quite a few different boards and enclosures and had to find out that one of the boards i bought sounds nice but it is rubbish because it wastes a lot of space. Then i scratched a new enclosure and to cover it i had to change the layout a bit so that the voltmeter sits right at the edge. But i don’t really have a board for that box now so no, nothing went wrong but the learning process forces me to make a new order every few days. And the Big Al board i want is not available in the UK :frowning:

Modmaker only sells the 4s sled mounted and the 6s side mounted board. I want to try the newish sled mounted IPWMThat one sounds like it has everything i want, protection against wrong polarity, low bat warning and so on.
The rubbish board was the black unpopulated board with the digital pot. Too wide to mount it behind the 510 and if you side mount it there is no more space for the voltmeter.
And the support is rubbish, too. FB only pretty much and no more answer after the first. Big Al however looks perfect. I have alredy built one with a sled mounted board and I love it… I’ll throw some pics into the other thread soon.

Great news… But no worries, I do stay positive… just finished fitting that bezel for the voltmeter and the scratch is 99,7% covered! You have to know it was there to see a little bit under the bezel

There are several varieties of bezels available…some wider than others. JSYK
