Australian Government ***BANNING ALL NICOTINE IMPORTS***

fn ridiculous… 10 years ago it was (and still is nl doubt) canna that’s associated with the word ‘legalization’ … who would even have thought such a nanny state would exist where a prefered nicotine delivery system needs legalization.

Especially when big pharma can see their dumb minty shit in every supermarket across the country.

Ya, it is complete madness when the method of use of nicotine determines if it is legal or not.

Mind you, I might not be so blugh on that dumb minty shit if it wasn’t all so fucking minty: the various bouts with those ‘cessation products’ in the past has put me off mint entirely and though they’ve added some berry and fruit flavour to one or two products, it’s taken them 20 years to even get to doing that.

Not that that crap ever worked anyway and we certainly cannot compare chewing gum to vaping as a substitute for smoking.

Only time I ever found that gum halfway useful, was when I’d run outta smokes late at night and couldn’t be fucked going to the shop until morning - only time I ever appreciated having the shit in a drawer. really.

They should come to us for flavour advice: we be having cookies & cream or blueberry cheesecake gum people would chew just for the taste

But I thought flavours were bad?

OMG, think of the children… they wouldn’t be able to resist them.

Pfffffft

Oh yes, I forgot about that Simon. And yet the catch cry for vaping is all about the children.

Nope… it’s a question of who gets the profit that determines if it is legal or not

BBC News, Sydney

“The horse has bolted now, they are addicted,” says Chris, a high school teacher in New South Wales.

He’s talking about students in his class, teenagers, who can’t stop vaping.

He sees the effect of the candy-flavoured, nicotine-packed e-cigarettes on young minds every day, with children even vaping in class.

“The ones who are deepest into it will just get up out of their seat, or they’ll be fidgeting or nervous. The worst offenders will just walk out because they’re literally in withdrawal.”

Those who are most addicted need nicotine patches or rehabilitation, he says, talking about 13 and 14-year-olds.

Earlier this month the government decided enough is enough and introduced a range of new restrictions. Despite vapes already being illegal for many, under new legislation they will become available by prescription only.

Its a simple plan to just ban disposables. And only sell vaping equipment onlise while doing what they have done in the states. Some companies you needed a photo that could only be used by the camera system on the website and then a photo of your id to show proof. To totally ban it is ludicrous. Its just another example of a govt trying to enforce control. It worked with covid the sheep lined up for the shot. Now they know they can do whatever

Not if they are voted out of office in the next election. When reps are voted out then and only then do they start thinking who’s next

Australian government is banning all vapes . U will need a script to buy from pharmacy. It will be tga approved devices like nicovape pod. 1.8 ml pod will cost $25. It needs to get voted in. Border force has admitted they can’t stop all vapes as they only stop 1/4 of all cocaine coming in to Australia. Australia is cocaine capital of the world per capita.

We are becoming more like an Eastern country than a Western one. Banning things that take money away from those in power and their associates…

What an excellent read!
Obviously I’m biased but it’s so refreshing to read something like that which tears shreds off all the BS we’re constantly being fed in this country.

Thanks for that.

I really think AU needs to open their eyes. They need to follow more of what the uk has done and the trsting they have done. Just because they will eventually pass something business will be booming after on the black market. Problem is you wont know what you are buying. Cause more problems then before
