I go by Helix. I reside in the greater Denver area. I just started mixing about a week ago and I’ve been eager to learn all I can so I can whip up tasty stuff. I guess you could say I’m slightly obsessed haha. My passions include DJing, cooking, home improvements, etc. Being creative gives me a sense of fulfillment which is why I think creating e juice intrigues me so much. Along with the other perks such as saving a pretty penny because I fly through the stuff… I’m excited to become involved in the community and share what I will be learning, as well as benefit from the experience of all the vets!
Its possible… I was just thinking about some time off myself… But got 3 years to go… Feel like I’m constantly doing school work… Wait… I am… Staying Positive that it’ll be worth it in the end

Not like stalker type lol , but would enjoy seeing more feed. Thanks you all are very nice and enjoy all the information.
Welcome and congrats on quitting! That’s awesome. There’s not really any following someone on the forum, but on the recipe site you can click on their name and right above their recipes there should be a line that says “Start Following – Following – Followed By – User’s Ratings”. Just click start following.
Just a quick note between naps, morphine is nice. I’m scheduled for a major surgery 3/24 as their going to try to remove as much as possible and resection my bladder then do some kind of nitrate flush which will burn the lining of what remains. All this IF one big nasty looking tumor hasn’t made it through the bladder wall.
Miss my mixing bench and this forum a lot!
Hello, everyone. I’ve been vaping since 2012, and started with an eGo style device. I’m now into regulated box mods, sub-ohm tanks and RDAs. I got set up last year to begin DIY mixing, and found this site while searching for info on recipes and flavors. I’m growing my flavor stash, and learning to mix my own juice. The wealth of information here, and the spirit in which it is shared is wonderful. Thanks to all who are involved in running this fantastic site; cheers!
Hello, my name is Charlie and I am a nicotine addict. I haven’t had the need to have a cigarette in 4.5 years. I have been vaping for 4.5 years. I have no interest in quitting nicotine. I am 53 years old and live in Connecticut.

Hey all, I am Mike, I live in Utah, USA. No, I am not a Mormon. Lol. I am 28 (29 on may 14th). I live with my lovely girlfriend, Shilo. I was a smoker of a pack a day for about a decade, until I met her, July of last year. She does not smoke, and paired with wanting to quit anyway, the guilt of lighting up around her over took the urge to, and so I took up vaping (again, but I had struggled with trying to quit a few times before ending up dual puffing both instead). Currently unemployed, due to recent dramatic events requiring a sudden move… (Different story on a different thread). My girl is a maid for a company that provides services to residential homes across the county, sometimes a bit farther out, the pay is surprisingly good for that, coupled with gas comp and tips:)
As I lost my kbox kit by accident, I have been using a Vision Spinner 650mAh and EVOD2 tank, but am waiting for my Ego AIO to come soon. I am obsessed and determined to start DIY for my juices, and my girl has been extremely supportive, even helping lend some creativity and inspiration for some recipes and titles to them. All in all, I have about 10 unique juices done up in the calculator (still on private until I can make them for myself and perfect them) ready to try out as soon as I get supplies ordered, and about 12 more recipe concepts, with titles, on paper still to add. Basically, to all the nay sayers, I am going to jump right in the deep end on this and make it my lifes work to make quality juices, and who knows maybe some day (sooner than later, hopefully) be able to market them on a small business scale to local shops or something of the sort. My girlfriend is currently saving up to buy her own glass blowing equipment, to make beads, pendants, and pipes, as she has experience in a shop, and loved it. Together we dream to live what we love, and make money doing so (hopefully enough to be financially comfortable).
Also in my free time, I do pencil shading portraits of people and animals. Also, I am a definite computer geek, sci-fi and fantasy nerd. I build computers, RC cars, and enjoy making instrumentals for local underground hip hop artists, and occasionally some intense movie-like classical orchestra sound. Thanks for taking the time to read all this, if you’re still there
My name is Jeanne and I live in Florida, USA. I am 60 years old and smoked since I was 16. Tried everything to quit, even one of the first ecigs [hated it!]. I was speaking with an old friend who has stage 4 lung cancer and she told me they were doing wonderful things with ecigs these days and so I looked into it. Bought a basic blister pack [Ego] and some juice and though I hated the juice [and, looking back, the ego], I liked the fact that I smoked only 5 or 6 while vaping. I thought that was remarkable as I was up to 2 packs a day by then. It was a no-brainer to quit…just had to get some juice I liked and a better mod I could afford. I’m on Social Security Disability Insurance for Fibromyalgia and hip/spine issues and cannot work and am on a very limited budget. In a few weeks I quit totally and that was about 4-5 months ago. I’ve been reading everything I can because there are really no B&M shops near me that I can go to for support. But I knew that I had to start making my own juice. Like most, I simply cannot afford the prices of most juices. I also began building my own coils for the same reason. Vaping has been the most painless way possible to quit. I have not once had that “white knuckling it” experience because I am still getting nicotine. I intend to stop that someday, too but as long as this is working for me, I will continue to vape until I am off nicotine for good. I never thought that I would be doing this as a hobby; I just wanted to quit smoking. But perhaps… I am most grateful for Daath and this site [and others] and for the whole vaping community out there and for the advocacy organizations who have made it possible for me to finally quit smoking cigarettes. I am still trying to make a juice that I like and this site is invaluable to me for all that I have learned so far. Because of all of you I am sure I will be at that point soon. [And “maybe” even contribute a recipe or two.]
