Welcome @Abbyj3287 I’m glad you made yourself known to us. I don’t create my own recipes either and only tweak other people’s occasionally if need be to either substitute a particular flavour that I don’t have or add a little something to suit my palette but I always leave a review to show my appreciation and respect to the original creator. Please don’t hesitate to ask us if you need any help or advise as everyone is really friendly here.

@Abbyj3287 congrats on your vaping journey and thanks for sharing it with us. Amazing how vaping has helped so many quit smoking. It took me about 6 years to try mixing and I joined ECF last December. Hope your vaping journey, your mixing journey and your life journey bring you some contentment, joy and happiness. Glad you joined us !!

I just saw this and realised I hadn’t.

So I’ve been around this site as a curiosity for quite a long time, but never really dove into mixing. Now is the time as a Briterican (British born/citizen, American schooled, binational upbringing) - I recently returned home to England (just moved from east to west London) after 35 years in the USA (phoenix and nyc), and boy is juice expensive here (though at least it can be shipped!-sorry USA people; that’s amazingly Awful).

I’ve decided to try and make my own versions of things I’ve previously enjoyed. Tweaked- and I’m working with my Italian girlfriend who is an amazing cook/ baker to try and come up with some cool stuff.

Already everyone has been very friendly and welcoming, it’s much appreciated.

Outside of vaping I’m a career IT guy (management) and a semi pro photographer (street shows are the goal but architecture and interior design pay).

Music lover, DOG LOVER, vegetarian - semi pro tall guy who hits his head and falls Over a fair bit

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Welcome @Aphonic

Dog lover so definite plus there…
What is semi pro tall? I didn’t know there were ratings on being tall.

Hah, well I’m not crazy tall but I’m taller than a few people - 194cm (6’4” or 202cm/6’7” on dating sites :innocent: ) never made money from it.

I was trying to paint a picture of my clumsy with words. It’s hard to write about yourself!

I am actually 6’4" and know very much the clumsy thing mate. I agree that it’s hard to write about yourself, but you did well.

When you said “semi pro tall guy” the first thing that came to mind was that maybe you were an amateur short guy?

Welcome to ELR @Aphonic (even if you’re a DOG person).

6’4” is pretty tall in my book.
I’m only just over 5’10” but still clumsy.

Welcome.

I’m slightly shorter than you and all I got was a collection of scars from hitting things.

Hah, Amen to that. The worst was failing to realise a Spanish style house with arches and turning to cut down a path at night

I take it back. The worst was running for the subway in New York and trying to get through the door on an upstep. Humiliating and I almost lost consciousness. I had a good one liner when a guy asked me if I was hurt though

“Only my pride”

Not tall enough for it to be really cool but tall enough to be inconvenient!

I’ve spent most of the last decade in Asia, so hitting my head was a weekly occurrence.

Similar in Italy. The south of Italy is not a tall land filled with tall people. It’s an amazing place though. Probably my favourite right now. Must have been awesome to be in Asia !
