Hey all,
Was wondering which of the recipes featured in ELR is the closest to the OG. Does anyone have a close-ish recipe? I don’t want to have to try a bunch of recipes, just the closest. Thanks in advance.

not sure but I would pick a recipe that uses Lemon cream wafer by Chemnovatic, which wasn’t sold to the public when people first started to clone DL. lots of those recipes are old
Seems to be a consensus that it’s in the original, you can get it at FLVRS.COM

Lcw is a nice standalone, but I like adding a touch of lime tahini.

I ordered it earlier today. How much of it would I use and what would I replace in say @rcleven 's recipe above? Or would I add it to that recipe on top of what’s already there? Sorry I’m still a relatively new mixer.

I would start with this recipe myself:
I did try cloning DLLT myself doing side by side testing with the OG e-liquid back when LCW came out but got so burnt out on lemon vapes I can’t even stomach the LCW anymore, or much other lemons for that matter…

you might just want to pick a few recipes and make smaller batches of them
the recipe rocky just posted looks great, im going to try it myself soon
though im going to sub CNV lemon with FE lemon and FA lemon sicily
since thats all i have atm

Yeah, I just ordered the LCW from NomNomz, but didnt get the other 2 CNV ones so I’ll use Juicy Lemon (CAP) and Cookie Premium (FA) for now until I get the other two on a future order. Hope this works out well enough for now. I have never had the original, so I won’t know hehe, I just really want to try it seeing as a lot of people recommend it.

@IggyZ posted this recipe on vapingunderground. And it’s the closet to the OG that I’ve ever tried. I’ve tried dozens of recipes posted here on ELR & there was even a contest on VU to see if anyone could nail it.

@UrsusArctis it looks like IggyZ was the one who cracked the code, that @Heart mentioned (or at least the closest). Adding AP seemed to be the BIG THING that everyone else missed. Looks like he added some FA Apple Pie to bolster the crust, and FA Meringue for, well, Meringue.

This is a CLONE of “Dinner Lady - Lemon Tart”
In order from most used to least in the original Dinner Lady - Lemon Tart: Malic Acid, Vanillin, Citral, Acetyl Pyrazine, Lime
Just saying, but none of the clones/remixes on here or ATF come close to the original. Why hasn’t anyone read the ingredients on a DLLT bottle and started to work from there? Well, the list is above.
Malic acid comes from the FA Apple Pie
Vanillin comes from a few different concentrates within.
Citral is contained in the lemon concentrates.
Acetyl Pyrazine comes from the Acetyl Pyrazine.
And the lime comes from FA Lime Cold Pressed.

CAP lemon meringue pie isn’t in the original but its great,
has my favourite meringue flavour

Back when LT was released in 2016 sweeteners were starting to be ramped up.
Favourings wernt being over complicated back then either.
I came across a recipe for LT recently which to me based on the time it was released makes sense.
While ive not tried this ive put it into my recipe list to see how it looks.
