wow…thats really impressive! thats really really nice work.
so tell me, brother? whats the difference in vaping experience in using a fused clapton versus just a regular coil? this is an honest question. i use spaced coils exclusively since i discovered spaced coils, so i dont even remember using them in tanks.

Thanks brother.
The main difference is the character of the vape I think… It has more and deeper flavor and is more juicy. There is a longer ramp up but it’s not too bad if you use nichrome as the core wire.

These coils are 26n80 for the core and 36gn80 for the wrap. I also flatten them lightly with toothless plyers.

The video you showed me has made all the difference in getting the color out. Especially the washing part. Also to pulse at low watt at first to get most of the hot spots out. Thanks for the help again brother :grinning::+1:

Thank you buddy :grinning:

I can imagine that all ss claptons will give so good flavor. Haven’t tried that yet but you gave me a idea

Using swivels makes claptoning so much easier. I can freehand a single strand clapton but I fuck up all the time. I don’t bother trying anymore so I only use swivels now.

These ones from ebay.

Watched a cpl of yt vids and that’s the sort of swivel he was using. But to clip 2 or 3 together incase 1 fails.

just trying to help here, not being an ass, i promise:
using those, you’ll wanna connect all three as they sometimes wanna bunch/kink/jam, whatever you wanna call it. personally, i found a certain type of ball bearing swivels known as “Aussie Swivels” that really work very well. you only need one and they never slow/kink/bunck up or whatever you call it…they are a little more costly, but you never have to check on them when you are spinning, you KNOW they are holding up! there are a coupla different brands, and the ones i found were on amazon…not sure where you are in the world, but i’ll link you the ones i bought if you are serious about giving making wire a shot…oh. forgot: the one i sent @vaping_tom was rated at like 300lbs.

again: not tryna sound like an ass or a knowitall, really just tryna help! i wish i had these when i first started out!
EDIT: look at the part of the link that says: Customers Who Viewed This Item Also Viewed…and you’ll get an idea of the swivels i mean and the various brands
