WTF, how are they allowed to carry firearms into a government building, around legislators, when such heated and contentious topics are being debated and voted on etc?
Especially when tensions are so heated.

Honestly, it would be so ironic if a couple of people among them were infected and gave it to many others.

Those were both full automatic rifles and would fall into the category of an assault rifle, so aptly named it appears. None of those weapons pictured at the demonstration appear to be fully automatic weapons, therefore the accurate military definition would not apply, at least in the US. But I must say I think it was not in good taste or helpful for their agenda

I would have never been able to determine that from a photo. I know some rifles can be converted to auto, but I always thought it had to do with interior mechanisms… You have a very sharp eye.
