We are now living under emergency law. I can’t quite pinpoint what the emergency actually is, but we have officially lost our democracy as of today.
They have tried to push this thing through for quite a while. So far it had been stopped by parliament because a lot of stuff in it was going extremely far.
Things like having the right to just burst into your home to see if you were sticking to the rules.
After many adjustments, parliament finally agreed to it. As soon as it was through parliament, they were sent home.
They can now start adding to it without any controle whatsoever.
The last time this happened was in 1940 when we were overrun by the Germans.
Today, we cannot go into a shop without wearing a mask. Not complying will get you fined, and a criminal record.
The exceptions that were in place, when it was still only an urgent advice, for people with chronic problems, who cannot breath with a mask are now nul and void.
I’m one of those people. We now have to prove that we suffer from a chronic disease because the government doesn’t trust us. “This will be abused” is what they said as a justification for this stunt.
The official kickoff for this is today, they changed the rules for us on Sunday 
So I contacted my GP to ask for a little note or something that I can use as proof that I am one of the exceptions to this rule.
The GP’s throughout the country have decided not to give people the proof they need. It should all be based on trust. Catch 22.
So I decided to get my shopping delivered at home. They are all full and do not take on any new customers.
There’s only one that still does so I registered myself there on Sunday. They have reserved a spot on the waiting list for me. 
My place on the list was 24945, today I’ve risen to 24943. At this pace, It’ll be my turn in about 80 years.
This is a nightmare and I haven’t even mentioned the worst thing yet.
The people who came forward on social media to talk about this problem they are all of a sudden faced with, are being shouted at and abused and that’s the best case scenario.
“I hope you get covid and end up gasping for breath on the ICU” or how about this one, “as of tomorrow it is the law. If I see anybody without one, I’m going to beat the crap out of them”.
WOW and WOW again.
The hospitals are empty, routine operations are done etc, there is no fucking emergency.
Only a lot of crap about rising numbers of new infections, based on a completely unreliable PCR test.
The fact that none of these new infections lead to hospitalisation doesn’t seem to matter.
Even yesterday I came across a post where someone said that if anyone was still not aware that we were dealing with a very deadly virus here…
If we were, half of this forum would’ve been wiped out already.
Anyway, so even if you can get prove from a doctor, you’re running a risk of ending up in hospital (or worse) because someone, or more than one, will decide that you are an antisocial asshole and a danger to everybody else and therefore should be punished.
Oh, how much I love this world and the people in it. 
All this is the result of a psychological war that’s waged against the people of this planet through the MSM.
When I look at the majority of people in this country, I can only conclude that they have been extremely effective. There’s no rationality left in most of them.
Any criticism is met with amazement, everybody is pretending that everything is hunky-dory and everything is normal.
It’s only temporary, until we get this miraculous vaccin 
And then all these rights that they have willingly given up on a “temporary” basis will all be given back to them.
It’s not like anybody ever had to fight to get these rights in the first place right? No loss of live involved in that at all.
One day they just decided the population deserved rights and they freely gave them away.
It will be no problem whatsoever to get them back.
I feel like I’m in the middle of an episode of the Stepford Wives.

Throughout the day I listened to three government groups speak. One was a special task force on Covid, supposedly bipartisan, one was the republican tribe and of course the last was the democrat tribe. All three groups were speaking of Covid and all speaking of totally different things. Absolutely zero coordination or even similar focus. One each U.S.D.A.Grade A total clusterfuck. Useless.

I feel like I’ve woken up in a parallel universe at some point. I do not recognise this world.
It’s always been a clusterfuck but now the whole thing is really completely off the rails.
What I find most frightening is that this situation, that has such a tremendous impact on the life of everybody, is simply not discussed outside of politics and the media.
It’s the elephant in the room. You see more and more people out and about looking like they’re expecting a sarin attack, and nobody comments.
Everything that is happening now is regarded as the way it always was. “We’ve always been at war with Eurasia”
Everything under the sun is talked about, except for covid and more importantly the covid measures.

To be honest, I’ve never gotten the comparison between our society and 1984. Yeah, the Big Brother is watching you stuff and such is familiar, but for the rest the two societies were total opposites.
Their society was pretty bleak, all the joy had been sucked out of it, whereas our society was brimming over with fun and entertainment.
Bread and games.
Maybe it was useful as a distraction. People were too busy having fun to worry about anything that might be going on behind closed doors.
The fun has been taken away now.

Now granted 1984 would be in our FUTURE, so not as to be a current snapshot, but I do agree with Walt, that, we sure could seem to be heading down that road …

I see it in the political correctness (Good speak)
The constant increase in surveillance both street cameras and the web
The media may not be controlled by the government but 98% of the outlets are in lockstep with one of the two tribes.
Social media has become a social engineering platform along with TV telling people what to think
Our population seems to want to hand more over to the government every day while becoming more dependent upon the government.
So much is being flipped 180° out of phase, good is bad and bad is good. You are now responsible for other’s feelings
I see a lot of parallels.

Sadly they don’t need the army to do that. We have a phone line where people can shop their neighbours.
All the spy stuff that’s in place has been put up at the request of the people, please keep us safe

It’s the same stunt they’ve pulled on women. Having kids and a career is freedom 
Now we have mandatory masks, they don’t work and they know it, but the ministry of safety in this country wanted to continue with the masks because they could use it as an experiment in behavioural controle. 
Vaccins will not be mandatory, but… people who don’t want it might have to keep to the corona measures a lot longer.
No travel, no entree to public buildings, no football matches, no school, no anything.

Government has put our constitutional rights in the bin, doctors have thrown their oath to not do any harm right next to it, who else is going to betray the people.
Fear, there’s one doctor in this country who has gotten a letter from the inspection summoning her to stop telling her patients that cuddling was healthy. She has quit practising, because she is refusing to be an instrument in this onslaught.
Most will choose their careers and their own safety over yours or mine.
There are plenty of studies that have shown the detrimental effects on the human psyche when love, attention, physical contact and the likes are withheld.
These measures are destroying public mental health, which has a negative impact on the immune system too, and they know it. It perfectly fits that Rockefeller lockstep scenario to get peoples immune system down

I think a lot of people simply cannot imagine that people can be this evil. It just doesn’t register.
The most applauded character-traits of this society are the psychopathic ones. I think it’s called good business instinct, or some other drivel nowadays.
I know first hand what living like this does to a person. This whole repressive bullshit that is going on right now all around us, used to be my home situation, no masks naturally, but the repression, the muzzling of thought, speech, opinion, freedom of movement, right to privacy, the complete disregard for your wellbeing, everything is the same.
Difference is that in that time I had a magical age to look forward to, you know, one day I’ll be old enough and I can get out of this hellhole, and it was just happening in one place.
Now the whole world has changed into my parental home. There’s nowhere to go, no magical age, no escape.
I’m constantly out of breath, I just can’t seem to get any oxygen.
