Coronavirus

@Guido_Possum @Dan_the_Man and anyone else I put into a tail-spin, I would like to apologize for posting COVID stuff in an area that should be free of that talk. @Guido_Possum you provide an interesting perspective and I’m glad you have voiced your thoughts. A tad fatalistic in my eyes, but you have provided me a well needed reminder that I am lucky to have an opportunity to work at home without missing a beat and that a lot of people are living extremely disrupted lives. If this happened during my younger days I can see where I would have not been able to work at home, I would be racking up debt, feel much more anxious about the things the lockdowns would prevent me from participating in, and I be a magnitude or more depressed.

I get it. Try to keep a decent glimmer of hope. May the next mutation kill it off instead of us.

I think it’s safe to say that no matter which side of the “fence” you sit on, in regards to COVID, with an ever increasing number of FULLY vaccinated people getting infected, and infecting others, many (not all) people are starting to wonder exactly what IS going on, as opposed to what was being TOLD was going on.

It never hurts to question, unless you don’t want to know. Do your own research, and see what YOU think.

Nothing but love bro. The whole thing is crazy and like @SessionDrummer said it’s got me wondering what in the hell is happening. Why has the world gone insane over a virus that is essentially the flu times 5 or whatever. All the “science” the media tells us isn’t even science. While men and women that work in the healthcare industry and others with Ph.D.'s and scientists that have different science are being shut down. While real diseases are being ignored. Has anybody noticed that the flu doesn’t even exist anymore? Countries like Haiti and others don’t even have the coronavirus. Well, they didn’t until their leaders were assassinated and one actually survived the attempt on his life. Now Haiti is just as bad as the rest of the world. If nothing else made me suspicious then that right there is all I need.

I never did like Russel Brand until he had a spiritual awakening and now I think he is brilliant.

Awesome! thanks for that post.

I believe that there are rallies here in america coming up on the 23rd. People are meeting in the state capital of whatever state you are in.

We need a better way to communicate. I just found out about this 2 days ago. I cancelled whatever plans I had because I am going to stand with the rest of the people that don’t like gooberment overreach and care about freedom more than safety.

What it really comes down to is that the answers are out there, if you do a little digging. Think of it this way, we vape, we know it’s life saving and we know where to find information about it. The media which I am not sure is bipartisan but both sides want certain information to be released or not. Think Aliens, Think Russian Vs China, Think Vaping, Think Covid… The real answers are out there if you do digging and veer away from mainstream media, because someone is buying them to force feed ideologies and narratives to us… Makes you think the Anonymous people wearing masks aren’t the crazy ones after all.

The story from Germany was quite interesting. DDG Translated…

More than 23,000 doctors have dropped out of the vaccination campaign

They were a great support in the fight against Corona: the vaccinations by health insurance and private doctors. But now the momentum seems to be waning significantly. In the meantime, significantly fewer practices are vaccinating than have participated overall. The vaccine manufacturers want to react. 404 Display Statutory health insurance and private doctors are apparently increasingly withdrawing from the corona vaccination campaign. This is the result of figures from the Robert Koch Institute, which are available to WELT AM SONNTAG. In the week from 2 to 8 August, only 29,300 practices vaccinated patients against the coronavirus, significantly fewer than the total number of participants in the campaign. Since vaccination began, more than 52,600 practices have administered Covid-19 vaccinations.

Vaccine orders from practices have also been declining since June, as figures from the Federal Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (KBV) show. Accordingly, around 1.3 million were requested on 27 July. This is less than at the start of the vaccination campaign in April, when 1.5 million doses were ordered.

The Chairman of the Board of the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians, Andreas Gassen, on the other hand, relativizes the fact that a large number of practices are currently dropting out of the vaccination process. It is true that the number of vaccinations is declining. “But we have to keep in mind that fortunately more and more people are now fully vaccinated,” he said. Display Gassen also sees the vaccine manufacturers as having a duty: “To ensure that doses do not remain unused and have to be disposed of, it is important that manufacturers also offer individual doses as quickly as possible.”

"Other vaccine presentations" also at AstraZeneca

The major manufacturers are already dealing with such adjustments. “We are working on smaller pack sizes and will be able to give an update in about six months,” said a spokeswoman for the Mainz-based company Biontech WELT AM SONNTAG. AstraZeneca also said it may be necessary to “offer other vaccines over time.” At the same time as the withdrawal of the doctors, the federal states are already planning the end of their vaccination centers. At the request of WELT AM SONNTAG, eleven of the 16 responsible state ministries announce that they will close their facilities completely or at least largely by 30 September at the latest. Bavaria and Schleswig-Holstein still want to maintain centres on a large scale with reduced capacity or in “stand-by mode”.

Just because Viruses mutate, and the existing vaccines aren’t effective at stopping us from contracting COVID doesn’t provide an argument against getting the Vaccines. There has been definitive proof that the fully Vaccinate rarely die or even require hospitalization when they do contract COVID. There is definitive evidence that a high percentage the unvaccinated people require hospitalization, lung machines, and die. I’m not sure what the point is for the recent post in this thread. I didn’t read the links provided but I’m not seeing why these countries are backing away from the Vaccines, only that more and more are doing so. No dates are provided either. Are these links and snippets from them from the last two weeks? I know the numbers of COVID cases are skyrocketing since the start of school. I’ve been looking at the daily statistics from the school district I went to and the cases are climbing exponentially . The exponential climb in people contracting COVID occurs with or without vaccination. The difference is how the persons contracting the viruses do after getting it. The sooner everyone get vaccinated, the sooner we can get back to normal. With only a ~50% vaccination rate we can argue two opposing arguments as to if we should vaccinate or not vaccinate. While we are debating this we will continue to struggle and the death rate will remain high or even climb, barring the future mutations which we cannot predict the affect. Genetic mutations can work for the virus or against the virus. They usually cause most of them to die off. Since we do not posses Crystal balls that actually predict the future we have to go with what we know. That is to watch and react. We (the world) have done that and our reaction was to take it very serious and work on creating effective vaccines. We did the best we could and I’m sure there are many people that are still working on it. So now many people want to undo that reaction. That doesn’t sound like an attempt to overcome this, it sounds like a weak move. We can’t predict the future but we can study the past. Viruses and disease (plagues) have wiped out ~50% of the worlds inhabitants in our relatively short written history. I’m talking a single outbreak not a collective ~50%. Remember the “Dark age” in history? There is no doubt that COVID won’t try to top that given the opportunity.

Just stumbled across this on a SubStack, and thought I’d shout it out, and you guys could check YOUR area, for actual Hospital COVID Bed Utilization numbers.

This is in reference to the “Overflowing” cases that are being reported.

Here’s where you can check …

Looks like 7.92% in my area…

Might be stepping out of line here (and I’m somewhat ashamed to admit this) but I’ve come to the conclusion that the majority of Australians are “as weak as piss”. I don’t know whether to scream or cry. One thing I do know however is that one day (hopefully sooner rather than later) we’ll get our act together and join the rest of the world in getting down to “living with COVID” in a responsible manner and not hiding away in fear because our gooberment convinces us we need to .
