My boss did tell me to go ahead and file for unemployment. They lifted the 5 day wait restriction. The program I transport to is closed as of today and until March 30. The public schools until April 7.

Same here, 5 seconds ago i was really try to figure out how toilet paper can be the first panic people think about… Toilet paper I’m choked and it’s all over the world.
Must be a secret TP sect or community, no seriously its really weird.
I could better understand if people was fighting for the food… Still far out, but this could make sense.
Maybe we got a clarification around it in the coming future.
After the first week where all the walking deads have their hoarding crusade, it have fade out.
The food and TP hoarding is gone, now we “only” miss hand sanitizer and the ingredients for make it yourself.
After 4 days searching I finally got the hydrogen peroxide for making it, so today I make 6 liter hand sanitizer, for me and my family

Not sure if I mentioned this. Maybe because I live in a densely populated area but trying to schedule food delivery was impossible. I spent a length of time on Amazon Fresh only to find out at checkout that there were no delivery dates available, check back later. I then went to Instacart and the closest date was this Wednesday and beyond. Sure, I wouldn’t have starved because I think I could have ordered pizza, Chinese and other takeout foods but people have kids to feed, the elderly need help. Subsisting on takeout is expensive and unhealthy. With all this time on my hands I wish I could be useful as a volunteer but I need medical clearance for that.

I made a 60ml and that goes a long way, both me and my wife are using it. That being said, I don’t get out of the house very much lately and use regular soap and water when I stay in.

Time for a break. Great chatting with ya’ll. Now I seriously need to try and clone 2 commercial juices that I love and can’t get anymore due to the ban. This is going to stretch my DIY muscle like never before. Maybe it’s the silver lining in the cloud for me. You know the saying, “Necessity is the mother of invention.” Wish me luck, I’m gonna need it.

More good news regarding humanity. My wife just got back from distributing food to school children and they had more volunteers than they needed. One woman pulled up in a Escalade and my wife asked her how many children. The woman said “This is an Escalade girl, I’m here to help pass out the food”.

Yep it’s a lot! When I have 2 liter left I make 4 liters again, a 6 liter circle. Always be prepared u know
