Looks like it may have been a lab escape after all.

It sure sounds like China has a problem keeping dangerous pathogens in test tubes where they belong, doesn’t it? And just how many “microbiology labs” are there in China that handle “advanced viruses like the novel coronavirus”?

It turns out that in all of China there is only one. And this one is located in the Chinese city of Wuhan that just happens to be . . . the epicenter of the epidemic.

I’m in agreement @anon70102222, just call me the Tin Foil Hat Guy.

That article kind of pushes it past tin foil hat realms, if it is all true. They sell their lab animals to street vendors instead of cremating them as the law requires? Egads.

Well, hehe, then there’s THAT …

Question of the Day?

How I prepare for coronavirus in the U.S.?

Epidemiology experts say the most important aspect of preparedness costs nothing at all — calm.

The main point of the mask is to keep someone who is infected with the virus from spreading it to others.

However, Wearing a mask, even though the individual wearing a mask is well, does protect the individual from contracting respiratory diseases.

I always wonder how much of your sneeze gets blown out of the sides of such masks. Sneezes are something very powerful.

By the way, there are only few masks that have the right filter to keep the very tiny microbes and viruses out (or in). The most beneficial thing about them IMO is that they prevent you from touching your face. That is of course if you’re used to wearing them and not constantly try to adjust your mask and touch your face in the process…

I’ve actually never wondered that. :nose: :man_shrugging:

Makes you wonder whether all these face masks is going to spark the debate again about muslim women wearing jihabs and stuff like that. Before long we’re all going to walk around like if we dropped out of a Star Wars movie

My stoic husband who never worries about things tells me tonight the first case of Coronavirus in Alabama, he’s quitting his job and we’re homeschooling our kids…So keep that crap out of my state. I tried homeschooling before I suck at it. Not to mention I’d probably kill my husband if we were together 24/7 ROFLMAO
