One thing we’re learning is the power held by State offices. Maybe more attention will be paid by Voters in future Gubernatorial elections …same for local Mayors and down the line. Maybe it’s clearer our lives can truly be in their hands, and require real skills other than crafting happy/polarizing BS
@BoDarc
again, I imagine the president would have to communicate with the NY Governor. However, given the amounts of new cases, had the president suggested it, the Governor might be inclined to agree.
@BoDarc
The American people pay attention? Hold on… I understand the word “maybe” but that my be a strong word to use in situations regarding elections
saying, “its possible” to me lends more spectrum to the statement. Seeing how, in the universe, everything’s possible just not always likely is umbrella coverage lmao
See @anon70102222’s name it says “Fixer” and mine says “Unregulated” @Raven-Knightly should adopt “Mind Stretcher” …totally works. Not even using emojis right now
I came across an interesting read. It’s a bit lengthy and includes a video pertaining to how 911 and this pandemic has effected noise pollution. If it contains anything political I’m not trying to point anything out, just thought it was interesting.
@BoDarc
I used to have a vocabulary… now a’day’s every other sentence I use has the F bomb or the word sh@t in it. Sometimes the word Sh@t said repetitively becomes a sentence (not accounting for grammar. It’s just the only word that gets said lmao)
God Bless the inventor of the backspace key In real life? perhaps a rubber band on the wrist [SnAp!] Me? It’s her eyeroll or offering me a sandwich …where the meat is knuckles
@BoDarc, I think I’ve wore m keyboard out. the buttons are sticky. I may have to go get some WD-40. I’ve had this one for 15-18 years so maybe it’s time for a new one.
Im going to try some furniture polish. Maybe getting some wax down into the areas where the plastic slides might help? WD-40 will eat the plastic keys up. I’m not sure spray furniture wax will help but I’m hoping anything that doesn’t hurt plastic but offers some lubrication might do the trick? Im not looking forward to taking each key out and spaying it.
I can’t cure the Corona but on keyboards I am the Boss. Best cleaner for painted plastic is ArmourAll Cleaner. Not the shiny stuff, it specifically says “Cleaner” on the label. Unplug or power off and turn your keyboard upsidedown and give it a coupla whacks on the edge (over a trash can to catch all the popcorn and hair) then spray upwards lightly …not trying to get underneath keys (water+electricity=bad). Just wipe off and leave upside down whilst drying (a few minutes). I have experienced horror stories turning people’s keyboards upside down and giving them a little spank …no the keyboards!
@BoDarc
I think the the areas that move down into the small rubber buttons need lubrication but anything lubricative eats plastic up. Furnature wax seems to be working for now but I may have to go get some dielectric grease for it. Again that requires taking the keys off the board.
