Bravo!!! Great article. Someone was thinking in Washington. Of all the possible sources, CDC, FDA, CIA, FBI, Fema, HS, eieio, it comes down to someone with personal interest in the region. That’s terrifying.

I haven’t read these articles yet but I think I can say, “Those scum sucking greedy $#@&tards”. This is a perfect example of how some big companies work the system. They anticipate a bail-out(government handout). They know most of the employees will uphold their oath to save lives and continue working (unpaid overtime). It’s not like these companies haven’t been rolling in $$ and already relying on everyone but them to foot the bill for those who can’t or won’t. I’m not sure there has been a lot of folks aspiring to become Dr’s like there used to be. The medical workers work thankless, difficult, long mixed shifts during normal circumstances.

Note that the US Supreme Court (may, possibly) strike-down the (entire) Affordable Care Act (ACA) by the end of June, 2020. The desire to “hedge bets” in the face of the massive lack of monetary profits resulting from the situation and laws surrounding COVID-19 is immense where it comes to the only-for-profit medical-industrial-complex that we “so love”, and (some, who benefit) have ironically defended. The coming financial wreckage of the ~20% of the US economy represented by “health care insurance and services” seems (to me) extremely likely to bust open and drain our flailing economy like a Casaba.

A profoundly ironic situation has evolved. The Trump Administration via its Injustice Department has officially voiced support for a lawsuit (based on a somewhat absurd argument that the ACA has no enforceable “severance/savings” provisions protecting it from being struck-down in full and in total).

Now, in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak and consequences, what the Plaintiffs and the Trump Administration have dearly wished and tenaciously fought for (without any coherent statutory “replacements” to date) will (in my opinion, and for those politicians up for election in 2020) inevitably reap them a severe and very stinging whirlwind in the political realm - because their ideology trumps humanity, even during a plague. It does not sound like we are likely to discover these “heros” inhabiting any commoner “foxholes” anytime soon. They will be hiding in their luxury homes with armed guards.
