I’m watching Grand Sumo (Live) from Osaka on TV. The bouts are ongoing, but with no spectators present, it is eerily strange.
Now 3 days after we have in Denmark 262 people infected.
3 days ago we had 27 people, it goes fast now, still no dead people, but hmmmmmm
Is it going fast because more people are getting it, or are more people being tested… Either way, as time goes by we’ll build up immunities, and they will likely find some vaccination for it. Nonetheless, get your toilet paper while you still can!!!
All I have to say is keep your hands off my glycerin! Wasting good VG on hand sanitizer pfft
Not to be an alarmist and if you folks prefer I will not post again, but this isn’t the flu and has the capabilities to overwhelm our hospitals. We are about 2 weeks behind Italy in transmissions and the following is not hype, just the description of the situation from a doctor at a hospital in Italy. This isn’t anything to scoff at or not take seriously, especially if you are over 60, have any health issues, or care about anyone that is in those categories. Good to have different perspectives. I think for one, we as a world are reacting differently than in the past. I realize containment has gone back in history forever, but this is a very coordinated world effort that in itself is quite amazing. It will be interesting to see what the critique of what we are doing today looks like in a decade or so. Also the politicization of the event is really making a mess. When people are out hording toilet paper to combat an air born pathogen, there’s a real problem in understanding what is going on. There’s a balance here somewhere but the public doesn’t seem to have found it. In the end these episodes will continue to happen. Hopefully we learn a lot from this one for the future.
I found the balance. Keep up sensical hygiene and stop worrying about things out of your control. Don’t wear maxipads on your face and don’t kick someone over a roll of doodiepaper.
reading is fundamental
Same here, they warned the population again today, if it goes much further our hospitals can’t follow the speed we get all the infected into our hospitals. The government now asking nurses and other people who get on pension to come back and work until we hopefully will beat the virus (every single one we have in our country .
So noone here can laugh about this only people without any fellings and people who can’t see or will not see, this is not fun at all. Small kids making joke of it, but that’s another thing.
But all the people who think they are born to be smarter then our scientists, doctors etc etc laugh of this.
What a world.
Concerts are now cancelling and rescheduling at later dates too… think we are up to 12 folks positive tested in SC.
oh and…
Well at least THAT makes more sense (stocking up on TP for the post anal probe trauma)
I can’t for the life of me figure out the correlation between the run on TP and bottled water for prevention of an airborne virus…
2 clicks - 30 memes and I’m out - hanl
Personally, I am not laughing off the virus. I simply stand in awe of some of the outlandish responses people are having towards it.

There’s nothing wrong with a little humor to balance out the complete hysteria that’s going around.
It’s never fun when people are dying, especially when they happen to belong to your circle of friends or family members, but people die every day of all sorts of things.
I tend to take everything that’s reported with a grain of salt. Time will tell the true story.
Running around like a chicken without a head is not going to help this situation.
Are we going to end up shooting people who we suspect of carrying the virus?
I’ve come across a lot of comments on the web today where people are claiming that everything that’s being reported is true because the WHO just said it was so.
The WHO also says that e-cigarettes are really bad for your health, so that must also be true.
I apologise for not running around screaming whilst having a panic attack because I might just die of…
The only certainty in life is death, and ironically it’s the certainty of death that makes life worth living.
Spoiler, there’s no cure for death
Wise words. With age comes wisdom. Indeed, time is the greatest teacher. Unfortunately, it kills all of its’ students.
Right now our prime Minister closing down our whole country, all the working people except policemen, firemen, hospitals etc, the rest have to stay home from work the next 2 weeks, same with schools etc.
No fun.
After the 2 weeks they will see what to do, if we have to continue this or not.
I’m a guy with lots of humor, but right now, no one think it’s funny at all. People will loose their jobs etc.
It’s insane how fast this goes, I can’t even imagine how the life will be in the coming weeks /month…
And die ofc.
What country do you live in? That’s crazy…
