One flavor that has always stumped me is FA Fresh Cream, I almost feel like it could be left out of a recipe and I would not even know. I actually have to try that sometime, it has always been in the back of my mind. I prefer CAP Sweet Cream and even RF Cream raw extract are ones I reach for first.
Anyone else or did the docs assessment of my mental status turn out to be true…lol
I’m with you on that one. Lower percentage makes everything taste flat to me, and higher percentage mutes everything.
Vz cream Charlotte, vz vanilla sponge cake, and strawberries vz if you decide to put an order in. If you like chocolate then definitely pick up the chocolate truffle. I use strawberries at 1% and under. The other 3 I use 1-2 drops per 10ml. Seriously. If you want a good blackberry get either medicine flower or vz gourmet blackberry. I was lucky enough to order mine a year ago from Russia and waited 3 months to get it. So I almost got the full line and paid about $100. But now they don’t ship to the US unless you have a wholesale account. FW butter toffee is pretty good as well and for about $1 something a 10ml why not try it out? I’m not a fan of inw so no comment. I also tried RF flavors when they first came out and I just know that i don’t like using 10% of anything. I feel like I’m wasting my money. I like super concentrates. I’d spend my money on vz or medicine flower. Oh yea lucky shot is pretty good too. It’s reminds me of graham cracker v2 cap quite a bit but a lot more complex. I used it with banana nut bread and some cinnamon. I also used it to make a key lime pie. I personally like they’re sweet tea, Arnold Palmer, pink lemonade, rootbeer float, and raspberry slushy the best.
Thank you very much for the feedback everyone, it’s helping me a lot! @juice_junkie_lover, RF has a line of raw extract now, most of the ones I’ve tried so far are in the 1-2% range for sf. I might end up biting the bullet and visiting VZ. Maybe…lol.
They usually run coupon codes from 10-15% off on the weekends. I usually get emails from them. Next time they do I’ll post it in the good deals thread.
Fresh Cream from FA is more a half and half flavor with a tiny bit of sweetness in it, Sweet Cream from CAP is just that “sweetened cream”

OSDIY Lucky Shot is nice. You could probably clone it with a decent stash, but it’s great for lazy mixers. RF Cherry Pie is the best cherry-type flavor I’ve found so far, so I definitely recommend it.
It’s one of my favorite creams. I’m not sure when CAP came out with it but I think I’ve been using it over a year now and have it in a few recipes. Love the stuff. But like everything else there are those who don’t like it much. First I got a 15ml bottle, then a 30ml, then a 4 oz. Almost ready to re-stock

Old dog, new tricks. I will try to get in the habit, but I’ve never done this and keep all my thoughts in my head. But I am starting to push the clock so better start doing it while I can still remember my name LOL
I agree with you @Alisa and I really could get into the habit of it. Like others said it’s a bad habit that I have never gotten into. I just ordered the cherry pie and cookies and cream off of Amazon to give real flavors another chance. I’ll let you know how I progress and when I receive them.
I got into the habit of doing a copy/paste of them both places when doing the RF beta reviews, but these direct “what’s your favorite” type questions don’t prompt the same sense of “this is a review” in my head for some reason. But it’s really a good idea to do it, and so I checked my stash and sure enough both were blank for these flavors! Fixed now tho, thanks!
I hope you ordered the raw extracts. I know strength was one of your complaints before, and the raw ones are very concentrated.

Lol…It will still taste the same, it will just need a lot more flavoring. I have found 10-18% for single flavor seems to be where I am at, depending on flavor. Plus a 4 week steep. I have been trying the extracts though, and haven’t had to go over 1.5% on any yet for SF, and much less steep time.
Nice…I have heard a couple good things on that cherry pie, and it’s on my list to try.
