I have but then again I did the same thing with coffee flavors and still tear up when I think how nasty they taste to me and it really really hurts cause I LOVE LOVE LOVE my coffee.

Have you tried the RF Boysenberry extract? It’s a close second and works really well combined to make a more complex intense Boysenberry

I hear ya and totally understand what your sayin but take that review and add it to the one you got on here and you gotta admit it does sound nice lol.

This is Apple butter (buttah) in the flesh so to speak. I make a couple cases every year and give it as gifts to the neighbors along with my homemade Blackberry jam sometimes I get carried away and do some peach or strawberry jam too. Notice when it’s turned over how it sticks in the bottom still it’s very thick. My recipe calls for cinnamon but I use pumpkin pie spice and a little extra cloves. I get mhy apples from an orchard about 3 miles from me. I buy the culls 8 pounds for a dollar. they’re just ugly mis-shapen apples I peal and core them cut into pieces I boil the cores in a cup of water in a separate pan for a couple hours then add the peels for a short time. strain and cook down into a high concentrated juice and add it to my apples that are simmering… Cook the apples for a couple hours blend and cook until the pulp is thick enough add sugar till sweet but tart enough to still be more of an apple sauce not a jam.

There’s a jam pic or two and one of my berry vines

Now that looks like a great batch of Apple Butter ! I’d preserve everything and anything if I had the land and time man oh man that looks tasty!

@Newbstar you can stay home and still make some Apple Butter http://www.southernplate.com/2008/07/crock-pot-apple-butter.html
( I’d use your favorite Apple not necessarily Granny Smith which are tart green ones )

If you get a Mason or Ball or whatever Glass jar with the tin cap it will stay good for a long time especially in the fridge.

I love baking I have got to stop baking so darn much…been watching my intake more and more and the dang oven still calls my name I just love flavors and mixing and pairing ideas in real life and obviously in vape

That’s why I love your flavour notes so much - they are like reading recipe ingredients and I love to cook!

Love the fact this is done in the crock pot - I may have to do some as Christmas gifts for the fam :+1:

The mobile park I live in is in the middle of about 5 million acres of Peaches, nectarines, plums cherries, apples berries blue, straw and black. Pomegranates, persimmons and nuts galore. Not to mention the bazillion types of citrus. I can can and or freeze all I can hold and the nice thing is I can buy peaches and other stone fruit for about 50 cents a pound from the farm stands. And oh hell I forgot all the grapes table and wine so I’ll never go hungry or sober for all that matters. :wine_glass: CHEERS :wine_glass:

I’ve got a little dip warmer crockpot that I used to heat steep juice in but now I fill it with citrus rinds, cloves, cinnamon sticks and maybe a cracked up nutmeg piece or two. fill with water and wine plug it in and the aroma is amazing for hours on end
