That sounds like paradise minus your 120 F days in the summer. I do love all the fruit trees and whatnot I grew up in north FL and always had peaches figs blueberries some blackberries it’s a lovely thing. I’m in Central FL right now we’re about to head out to North Carolina but in Central FL it’s all about the Oranges and Lemons.
North Carolina it’s the Apples I’ll be looking forward too !
I’d like to can and preserve eventually when I do get a permanent place but as of now I am doing the whole travel thing and it’s fun but I’d like to settle down.
been trying to get my CA. Nursing license it takes a good 2-3 months still in the process of it now.
Lol you know what I mean.In FL it gets to be 110 on occasion that is why I must get back to the PNW it’s calling me …Amy come back to Wa. or Or. lol and maybe CA. ( Northern )
Sorry for the delay @Newbstar , just returned today from camping this past week. IMO the cinnamon note in the Real Flavors line is indeed a top end cinnamon and among my favorites.
Walt hinted that his VG version of cinnamon toast is essentially the same flavor. It is strong too 1% is plenty in a mix. Maybe even less % as it grew stronger with a steep
I picked up Nonna’s cake because I saw it used in a lot of recipes(hype)…I’m not fan.I was really turned off by it, SA…forget it…but there has to be a recipe that will make it shine.
FA: wOw - Was very dissapointed when I tried it standalone. Find it very hit and miss in mixes, seems to clash with certain concentrates…BUT I have tried using it a lot, adds a good cakeyness to a lot of stuff. Wow and Cap Danish Swirl is a great danish swirl for example
INW: Lemon Cake…Personally totally an overhyped flavour. I am a big fan on Inawera but this has never really improved anythign drastically, very grainy too at any percentage above 1-1.5 - Rhubarb…this is a fantastic flavour, just like rhubarb to me, but it is very very sharp and very potent. I find I coulo never go above .75% and always have to add sweet fruits to calm it down, great flavour though
RF: Cherry Pie…oh Real Flavours you are so hit and miss. Good news, this isnt one you steep for 30 years and taste nothing. Bad news, personally taste nothing excititing. It is like there pineapple upsidedown cake to me, cooked fruit, good but nothing exciting either. Still definately one of the better cherry flavours…not that any cherry flavour is that great I have tried
I’m going to have to give it another try…I haven’t been mixing alot lately…I have an abundance of juices made… I think this is a case of Capt Crunch Berries…I really didn’t like it until I found the right flavors for it…now I have 120 ml bottle…lol
